You can't stop a fight midway through and tell a fighter to take a shower. A towel DOES remove oil, obviously not as well as soap, but rub some vaseline on your arm and try toweling it off and tell me it doesn't remove anything.

The reason Penn never got St. Pierre in trouble is because he is a bottom grappler. Vasolined shoulders means you can't get a high guard or rubber guard in play and makes a submission nearly impossible. Numerous times on the fight you can see Penn's legs sliding off St. Pierres greasy shoulders and neck.

GSP won the fight but from what i saw it is clear that he did get greased. It might not have made a difference but it is against the rules. I like both fighters and it sucks a fight comes down to lawyers in the end. Make them fight again with commision appointed cornermen to apply the grease so nothing can be said afterward.
