how do you call commands from any directory

when I do it I have specify the path ...

Yahooooooo... I've been looking for a great tut on this subject to get into coding Java and I think I've found it. You have hit just the right pace for me in your presentation! Some tuts I have seen either move "mind numbingly slooooowwwlly" or so fast I can't take in what they are saying because they skip the "detailed but information I need to know. Great job!
