'57 non-Fury hubcaps!!! There WAS a V on the front grill on '58 Furys, not on '57 Furys though. This Savoy has the "Sportone Trim" option- the lower spear, if it was the Sport Coupe it would make a great Christine. AS it is, it's a rare Sportone trimmed second-from-bottom (Plaza was bottom) Savoy; nice!!! You "stole" this collectible.
please keep this car in as original shape as possible. the paint looks original or older redo, even so, a light handbuff may be all she needs. my father was a repo man for the Household Finance Company in Winnipeg, Manitoba back in 57 and his company car was a medium blue 57 savoy sedan, v8. same car he proposed to mom in.
Wow though I stole my 57 Savoy for $800, and it needed a transmission. Other than that it was in about the same shape as this one. And I got mine from a guy in upstate NY as well LOL! If you're ever cruising between the Finger Lakes and the North East part of P.A and see a red and white one, that's probably me LOL! Its the only one in the area as far as I know.
The 57 hubcaps alone are worth $300, they were well known and used on many street rods & custom cars, they're still very highly desired & sort after today.
thatr must have been one dry , clean airconditioned barn...............

gunny556fly 1 year ago
the one thing that would make this NOT a Christine replica when it is/was finished, is the fact that this one is a 4 door, an Christine was a 2 door,

Thanks... only about 100 miles or so from me. The paint beads up the water... pretty nice for a barn find. I love the 3-on-the-tree
