@rockead77 Yeah? Well I just listened to this song again, and found there was nothing special about this at all. There wasn't emotion at all with this song - no peaks, no valleys, nothing. It's just a constant loop of a 10 second beat that Deep Dish put together, and then extended it past 9 minutes.

Somehow this track made it to the Grammies. Not too impressed if this track was the best for that year, if you ask me.

I don't know about you guys but I found this remix to be very very very plain. I didn't feel anything at all from this track.

I definitely really don't think it's worthy of a Grammy, but that's just my opinion. I'm sure there's other remixes that year that were simply overlooked.

Other than the excessively long intro (almost 3 minutes?!), a pretty nice, upbeat remix.

The reason why it's long is because it's meant for clubs. Club mixes have long intros/outros and are always in the range of 7-11 minutes. They have those lengths to facilitate mixshow creations, so there's no stopping between songs but seamless transitions between them instead.

Oh, absolutely. I know that's why house/dance/etc songs have these intros, but this one just seems longer than most that I've encountered (mostly have been a minute or so with a 2 minute outro).

Still, most club songs have a radio edit and I can't find one for this one (at least not on Youtube).
