  • @quwaloss """A message to all who have watched this video. This is all a fraud! It was one big lie and everyone fell for it! I don't recite. Don't wanna ever be known as the guy who recites pi anymore. done with it. so from now on, you'll know it's one big lie!""" I posted this 4 months ago, keep with the program

  • Awesome :D

    Now do it backwards.

  • @MTMewMew i wish lol

  • 3.141592653589793238462643383 is about all I can remember now...

  • how do we know he's not just saying random numbers

  • @sniperboi97 test it urself ..... if not, read my last comment under uploaders comments!

  • @sniperboi97 I know pi to about a hundred places, memorizing them is much faster than just saying random numbers. You will notice when doing it that it is really hard saying random numbers fast ;)

  • I believe you!! And good job

  • A message to all who have watched this video. This is all a fraud! It was one big lie and everyone fell for it! I don't recite. Don't wanna ever be known as the guy who recites pi anymore. done with it. so from now on, you'll know it's one big lie!

  • @PiWizard1 Oh kyle u trickster :P

p.s got veeeerrryy bored watching that :D

  • You're a wizard!

  • he can see through his scarf and sees the computer

  • I memorized the first thousand digits in a few hours by using mnemonic images for the digits and placing the digits in specific loci in my mind. This is a very old technique that has been around since ancient Rome. Anyone can do it believe it or not. Just search for mnemonics on the internet. I don't know if this is how this guy accomplishes this but if not, he should have. It would have saved tons of time.

  • definitely has it on the inside of that scarf.

  • @adrianzzd oh, here's a better solution ... i have a good memory ;)

  • @adrianzzd lololol 1000 digits all in that scarf??

  • I know 25 decimal places... known it since half way through high school when the teachers held a pi-off competition :P But thats nothing really in comparison to you. How do you memorize so many?

  • @D15H As i said, i don't have any specific technique, but i read up somewhere u can learn 3 digits or summin at a time then once u know them, learn a few more or whatever. I've got a very good memory and have had for ages. It took me about 2 months at the max to learn this and that's not exactly every day. I spent barely any time doing this.

  • 4:34

  • lol what if the numbers were inside the blind fold. jk your amazing

  • i've done 350 in a few weeks or practicing then got bored. I've got around 40ish in my long term memory now after 5 years of not reciting it. There was this indian chap i read about a few years ago. He knew pi to 3000 dp forwards and backwards! Wonder how his mind works! :) Job well done OP, but cut out those two mistakes someone pointed out. Pi is only impressive without any mistakes else it'd be like flying a plane then crashing - i.e. pointless. ;)

  • do you have Synesthesia?

  • I also found one additional error besides the two around 7:04 ..... at 9:23 you say 682323 and it is actually 682303....BUT WHO CARES YOU ARE AMAZING...A MACHINE MY FRIEND A MACHINE...next up you gotta beat Chao Lu...Oh and just in case some of you people were wondering how far he got...try 67,890....it took him a whole year of basically only memorizing...TALK ABOUT MISERABLE...

  • @KATOMATE01 omg 2 mistakes :O That's sooo bad for me lol and thanks :) I have never spent a lot of time on this tbh. Spent a few months, but not non-stop. I just have a very good memory.

  • @PiWizard1 NEVER SPENT A LOT OF TIME...JESUS YOU MUST HAVE THE MOST AMAZING MEMORY EVER! SEE YA DUDE COOL VID

  • i dont know whether this happened to anyone else but my video froze at 3:14...no joke

  • ITS OVER 9000!!!!

  • Awesome! You'll win when you die!

  • good job, man!

  • 7:04 ... not 42857746873115956286382353787, its 428755468731159562863882353787... I had the patience to find where you first made a mistake but I don't even have the patience to memorize 5 digits of pi. Very well done. I don't know how you do it!

  • @Mastamasta32 haha thanks! was waiting for a check up by someone lol. I've been practicing for ages.

  • Why would you want to do this? Lol

  • @Skunkbeard9 last digit is wrong. its 4459*

  • all i remember is 3.14 haha

  • if you concentrate on the voice only,, he starts to sound like Microsoft Sam...

    but still

    Kudos to you!

  • how do we know these aren't just random numbers?

  • @COCOPUFF093 check and make sure if u wanna sit through the full 10 minutes

  • @COCOPUFF093 haha brilliant :-)

  • hey dude. I also love memorizing pi. I have about 700 digits right now. What is your memorization technique? Do you use memory palaces? If so, I would love to know more about that. It sounds really interesting

  • 3.14159265353979323846264338327950288419716939937510582097494459230781640628620899862803482534211706798 is all i know. and no i did not cheat. I AM THE CHAMPION IN MY SCHOIOL FOR THIS AND PI DAY IS MONDAY!!! WOOHOO!!

  • How mush time u needed to learn that?

  • @HaloMice because sometimes when I type a site name normally with the dot, it won't let me post the comment, so I just do it like that sometimes.

  • how are they places?

  • i can do the first 120 or so very fast without thinking, from 120-600 i have to think a bit, then after 600 i start losing my song and then carry on for the next few thousand pis thinking very carefully to make sure i don't make a single error. sometimes just to prove to myself i made no errors i will write my answers and only check to see if i got it right after i went as far as i can.

  • thats alot i will soon remember alot but prob not that much

  • you should sign up on pi-world-ranking-list (dot) com , I've contacted them with my 378 digits, but I'm now currently at 402 memorised. :D

  • @Benobot99 I could and i was thinking about it, but this video proves i hold the current British School's Record

  • @Benobot99 why did you write (dot) ?

  • im know 40 numbers

    1415926535897932384626433832795028841971

  • shhhhhiet i get stuck after 3.14

  • u bossss

  • The digits are under his blindfold.

  • NERD XD

  • You did good, guy - overall you did real good! Sounds like when you recited the first 232 digits --- you may have used my rhythmic method of recitation? :-) Excellent!

  • you messed up around 7:00

    just saying :P

    4287554687311595

  • @tchoupiyoulous yeah :O i see that. said 577 instead of 755 :O oops. so that wouldn't count then?

  • if you want a tips from me to learn, if you got an ipod or iphone, search for pi in apple store, there you can find a game for free it´s really good!

  • kyle has potential!

  • Ow my god dude you know so many digits of pi.

  • the record is 67,890 :O

  • no it is 100,000 although the guiddess book of world records did not confirm this record it is true that that guy knows 100000 digits of pi

  • im only up to 150 which is the first MINUTE of your 10 minute video! that is amazing! please reply how you did it, any tips etc. and one last question: how many are you planning to memorise?

  • Well, i don't really use techniques. what i do is just learn 3 digits then say them over and over in my head and then say all i know together just adding the 3 new digits over and over again. I haven't learnt any in the last few months. i was thinking of stopping at 2000, but i haven't got beyond 1600 yet. i haven't even proved to anyone or myself that i know 1600. this video is the most i've ever proved i knew to anyone. I would say i knew a maximum of 1300.

  • it cant be a trick... but how?

  • waw thats really good man

do you play chess because im in a chess group maby we can play some runscape to if ur intrested but you better watch because my wizards spell cast is really good i will subscribe

  • No sorry :L i don't. don't understand the game lol

  • Very good, more digits than previously so well done on that.

    One word : Superb

  • I know up to "825" at about 0:44, so that's 89 as far as I know

That must have taken AGES to memorise!

  • i started learning in October 2008, but if u add up all the days we've been working on pi, it would all add up to atleast a month.

  • at 1.56-01.58 i didn't say 1179381. i said 117ni... (almost said nine, but stopped) 381
