i wonder how they do that, in the behind the scenes footage you can see a lot of people busy at her side and back and the space at the back seemed so big for the cameras how come in the show it's just a window and cabinet with stuffs on it? my guess is every scene that they do, they do it with more than 1 take, the first take they would focus on foreman then after they will settle the background of Cuddy and they will do another take with the cameras focusing on Cuddy only.

i don't think office scenes are special about this. there are always cameras and people behind the screen, this is FILMING. and one of the basic actor's tasks is to be able to concentrate...

i really liked this whole extra about "the jerk", a very interesting process of making a very interesting episode.
