  • Nintendo 64 graphics lol

  • horror

  • No clothes next time

  • What's low poly mean

  • @d1v4dPwnz It preety much means just low detail. And high polygon means greater detail. Like take gears of war for example that game is high polygon count. And then take a game like san andreas its low polygon count. Not because they were lazy its because the ps2 can't run high polygon graphics but the xbox and xbox 360 could. Thats why they have better graphics and different looks to them. And as tech keeps changing and getter bigger and better it means more detailed things.

  • @halo6534 thank you ;)

  • @d1v4dPwnz No problem.

  • not bad but one thing is disturbing me, she got a male shape, you should know human anatomy at least a little when creating human 3d model, on one of the first difference between men and women shape is that hips of women are larger than the shoulder and for men it shoulder larger than hips

  • Armor and kungfu please.

  • What is the poly count?

  • FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • LOL

  • I never get likes

  • @Drunkenpig221 here's one for you, buddy.

  • very nice low poly model this could work in a game if this was made for a game. But my only concern is the shoulders are to manly like but otherwise great job

  • i wonder what other toys she has

  • POPEYE

  • runescape moves. + sims creature =p

  • Guys character models are now usually sculpted in models like zbrush or mudbox then after a high poly model is produced they normal map it and then use it on a low poly version on said model the more you know ....

  • lol the last one looks like finalflash in DBZ :D

  • @NinjaBoyFuto LOL OMG IT DOES

  • Sims 3 lol

  • what skills?

  • @johanstone you try it you moron!

  • @johanstone lol you troll you +1 internets for you

  • 1:43 that hurt a lot xD

  • This is good work. Only the fall in front isn't too realistic. Nobody woman dos not fall in your bust, we first use the hands. This is logically and instinctively. You can think about this.

  • no bra no bra!

  • How many faces are there tops in a low poly character? Because i'm doing one but I don't know if I have to many faces

  • there is a differences between a guy and a girls face

  • lol shes weird

  • she looks like a shemale

  • Awesome. You had her do like every game motion ever.

  • Everyone always hates on female models' shoulders heh..its low poly, I am sire her ass ans shoulders etc get smoothed. Give her a ghetto booty man cmon! lol NICE WORK btw =]

  • if that's lowpoly

how does high poly look like?

  • @T3allam high poly will contain more detail, a low poly model is made from a small amount of faces/sides and takes less memory and less time to render.. whereas high poly will have an increased amount of faces and detail

  • better then sims! xD Nice job.

  • This was.. Bad.

Skinning is WAY more than just importing a character, placing a biped under it, throw on skin modifier and use motion capture..

  • this. skinning(or rigging whatever you call it) looks bad.

  • @quadraxas Understand what you are talking about before you bad mouth someone else's work.

  • @LasseLundster it is not bad it could use some work in the croch area. Look at the knees and elbows. looks good.

  • @Znistus It's 3 years old so completely outdated especially if it's a lowpoly character, I didn't see the date when I made my comment.

It's skinned with BIPED (which is completely useless, almost) so unless you modelled after the biped skeleton you can't get a good skin for it, I assume this is just basic weighted to a biped and used motion capture files on it =p

  • nice :D

a little tip on the crossbow though: crossbows have a straight FORWARD recoil, not back and up

  • please give me link to this model.

  • =D Lol Silicon boobs not shaking when moves =P

  • May we please see the wireframe of this model?

I'm always trying to make my topology better, so seeing the topology from a model that works well always helps.

  • It all depends on how much you've STUDIED animation, which is important for building a sense of what needs done, how well your model has been rigged, and how much time you're willing to spend.

  • why no boob jiggle ha lol

  • lol, i like how that what you were looking at

  • Such animation won't take long... Though you must rig your character perfectly, which takes a lot of time.

  • there are programs now that did not exist when this video was made that give breasts natural movement, but for when it was made it is excelent work.

  • Nice work, and animations, 6 / 5 stars..

  • six out of five is a fantastic score.

  • made in 2006 and it still looks good lol.

looks like we havent made much progress

  • That looks terrible, Look at crysis. I mean sure most people bought crysis just to say this. "Yeah, it runs. I'm done."

  • did u read what u typed before u pressed post?

  • she looks pretty good... but she looks like she has some male parts in it

  • too much arm muscles lol

  • she look like she is wearing a cup or has a dick too

  • and the boobs are unrealistic... at that size and no jiggle...(that is one of my observations of a woman in real life) so that kinda sucks or the bra really hold in XD

  • rambo women gone mad! :D

  • Looks like sims ;D

  • Does she have... a... a package?

  • she's got man shoulders lol

  • @bean432 ...and man hip...

  • @bean432 this is because SHE-is-MALE

  • @bean432 she's just athletic u fool

  • @bean432 its called an athletic body you fucking douche, women can be strong too. There's plenty of female body builders too

  • @LAHrebirth But the problem is ... female body builders arent female anymore ...

  • Is this program the Blender??? Anyway, really cool animations xD

  • lol yeah its pretty obvious

  • Wow,you have skills, your animation is quality. You should do a really cool mod or something,

  • This is very good!

Could you make some tutorials on how to:

    - low poly modelling.

    - animation.

    - model a character similair to this.

    - texturing.

..And tell what program you use :) would this program be able to use in python?

  • if u want a low poly then start with a cube and start doing edge loop and cut some surfaces ;)

  • u need more work on the groin area

  • actually these animation could work in some rpg games...in world of warcraft some animation looks similar to this

  • 1:41 WOW!

  • yeah but he cant imagen all the body moves in a punch

    it takes lot of work

and when i say alot i mean alot

  • Well, of course he can't. That why people prototype everything on paper first.

I think the main problem with his animation is that he is a bit too conservative with the key positions, so she looks rather stiff. What he needs to do is stretch her out a bit more as she swings. The gestures just aren't aggressive enough.

  • just a small comment the girl isnt correctly using the swords and some of the attacks arent convincing, as in too weak looking, you dont just pull your arm when you are slashing with a sword, you put the body weight of the side you are attacking with on the forward foot and use your shoulder and back to add momentum

just make the hits and stuff with more oomph, have the girl put her body into it more, you use your entire body down to your hips when you swing and punch, even flat kung-fu punches

  • the leg gets overextended in the end animation. people in the know can spot that kind of stuff every time.

im intersted to know how many polys u used cus the mesh looks pretty damn good!

  • Rawrr!! shes been doing her forearm curls, nice model

  • Didn't you model with nurbs?

You'd get a much better result if you did.

  • learning to model with nurbs these days isn't such a good idea, especially if you plan on modeling for a career.

Reason being: nurbs aren't frequently used, it's mostly polygons

  • NURBS are pretty much only used in computer aided design, manufacture, and engineering, which, of course, fits what your dad does. But for characters? Or GAMES?? Seriously? That's not even a possibility right now.

Polygons are used for EVERYTHING except what I just listed, and if you can't name any software that uses polygons then you're clueless (3dsmax, Maya, Softimage XSI, Blender, Lightwave etc. etc.). I'd advise reading up a bit before you try to give people advice.

  • @JonathanTheHarris dreamworks uses all nurbs dumb ass

  • @squirtingbuttholes3

I really hope you don't seriously think this Have a look at any Dreamworks making-of video. They use polygons like everybody else in the industry.

  • @squirtingbuttholes3

It seems Youtube doesn't let you post links for me to show you an example, so search "shrek making of", click the first video ("Making of do filme Shrek"), then go 22 seconds in. Obviously polygons.

  • @squirtingbuttholes3 Dreamworks uses polys too you dipshit.

  • @JonathanTheHarris I do see your comment is one year old, just wanted to say NURBS can be used quite efficiently on games actually, for PS3 for example, some main characters push 100,000 polygons so say, a 10k poly char can be NURBS'd with one literation!

As for crowd simulation and enviroment, lol gl hf with nurbs

  • @LasseLundster hahahaha, are you serious? the characters modeled for todays games are poly modelled to high quality then that normal map info gets put onto the lower res model, they dont use nurbs in game characters wierdo, and IF something was modeled in nurbs then it would be converted to polys anyways for the game engine...

  • @JonathanTheHarris The Unreal engine supports the use of NURBS in game.

  • @Hritzness nurbs or nurms because im not eve sure 3ds max has nurbs :l

  • @rancorx 3Ds Max does have NURBS.

  • @Hritzness No it does not dont talk about things you dont know about .

  • @viper08v10 You're a jerk.

  • @JonathanTheHarris The entire Shrek sage were all done in NURBS but you are right most things are done with polygons right now.

  • @JonathanTheHarris Maya focuses on NURB modeling. Just saying.

  • Characters for games are always modeled in polygons. You can get the same curve effects just by smoothing the mesh. Add a program like Zbrush into it and you can archive some great things. Reason why you use polygons for game characters? BECAUSE POLYGONS RENDER FASTER THAN ANY OTHER METHOD! Also everything you model ultimately gets rendered as POLYGONS. So, in other words it does not matter nurbs or polygons. It will always be converted to polygon at render time.

  • Aside from what shortgoober said, modeling character with polygons is generally a lot easier than NURBs, even for non-low poly purposes. There's no need to worry about faulty blends, detail can be localized (don't have to add isoparms which propagate detail and complexity through the entire model, etc).

  • Well, the bow animation is completely wrong, but otherwise it's pretty good.

  • great animation :)

  • Cool. animation is awesome

  • For a low poly model, this is some pretty nice work! :-)

  • Very nice animations. The character, well, I like the legs, and the arms are okay, but I think you could put a lot more work into the hair. How low poly is this, anyway? I mean, wow, the face looks nice.

  • she looks to buffed and you should smooth her out

  • Did you ever consider that perhaps the author wanted her to look muscular?

  • actualy thats not what i meant. I mean she doesn't look smooth

  • Welcome to low-poly models.

  • wow sweet!

  • 1,000,000 times better than i could model a person on blender. xD

  • what proram do you use

  • Said me...HOW did I put a ....head and a torso???? because.....for put hair...these 2 objects are to be...for separate no???? or no??? how did you make hair to your model????

  • Lol... Mo-cap this one..

  • reminds of mount & blade, are you gonna make a game of this?

  • its killing me

  • shoulders are too wide...

  • I think it's more that the rest of the body is too thin. That's about a correct width for shoulders

  • it's a blender?

  • Why is so small fps?

  • too sitff

  • im guessing you used mo-cap for the movement.

  • one question...wat program???=Þ

  • This is great! the movments looks perfect! Especually the handgun. (I didn't really like the fighting one thoush, she was standing too square. I'd love to see a 360 wireframe.

  • you culd had add the good animation... the one that she takes off her bra

and (starts f#@king some one.... for instance a 3d version of me... or sum random dude idk...)

    joke good job

  • Cool animations.. but need more realism (a little bit)

  • its gunna be a looooooooooooonnngggggg time before i get this good... ~sigh~

  • u need to make a MMORPG...

  • these look like second life animations - you sure you made them hm?

  • very well animated that was cool

  • Wonderful video! very beautiful

  • Está muy bien para un juego, pero el pelo le queda medio raro *-)

  • Not bad at all. Just looking for some advice if its ok with you? I want to get into the games design industry in this particular field (Modelling, Art, Animation, Rigging, etc) and I was just wondering if you have any tips?

I'm on Games Design degree course at Wolverhampton Uni and I feel they have barely scratched the surface with this stuff (it's a fairly new course).

Any adivce would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

  • The face looks like a man's face. She also sort of has man-like body language. Looks more like a trans-gendered person than a woman.

You shouldn't tilt her head forward so much... Make her jaw line shorter.

  • haha yeah does look like man. the shoulder line is wider then the hips. its a she male! i'm sorry that was mean. Keep on working hard!

  • SHEMALE.. is wat ya saying?

  • Lame animation idea - used from WoWmodelViewer ? :P LAME :P

  • no it's not

  • that was awesome

  • a little bit too muscular, in rest very OK model, and great animation.

  • This one would work really nicely in a lot of games! Not sure how many polys she's got, but I think she might even be feasible for usage in UT2004.

  • wtf that looks like my science teacher from middle school wow nice man

  • what is the polycount?

  • AWESOME MAN! I Know how difficult is to create and animate a low poly char, and your results are great!

    5 stars for U

  • why do you model just a female i model robots warriors fameus cartoon charateer

  • cool man, she looks very low poly but animates very well, think you can help me im also learning 3d

    good skinning too :)

  • good skinning too :)

  • cool man, she looks very low poly but animates very well, think you can help me im also learning 3d
