If you were trying to correct me you just failed as your corrected sentence is no good and looks silly. "Does" is an incorrect verb to use since "compatible" is an adjective. Now it might work for you if you said, "How the hell DOES and alien mother ship's computer work with Mac OS". See the difference? Also, dude, you need to use spaces after punctuation marks.

@lgmmrm That's interesting about the whole reverse engineering thing, a bit of a stretch as the 90's MAC OS was very different than the earlier Macs or even Lisa, but could explain some things. Macs, though, were not the first computers. Xerox had the GUI technology before.

@lgmmrm The Xerox Alto (1973) was about 10 years before the Mac as well as many other computers. I think the Mac was just the first really successful PC with GUI but that didn't come out until 83 or 84. You should check out the movie "Pirates of Silicon Valley", although not 100% accurate it has some good info on the early days of Jobs and Gates and the PC wars.
