God, underworld's music varies sooo much! You have King of snake which is like full on electronic dance, then you have Diamond jigsaw which is like Classic rock and melodic stuff combined, you have this stuff which is like ambiant country, and then you have Born Slippy which is like crazy ass, trippin on acid music from the gods.
This is argubly one of Underworld's finest moments and that's saying something. Karyl Hyde sings this perfectly, fits perfectly with the tone of the piano and melody.
@allways28@sweetcharlie63 I can understand him perfectly without even trying! The lyrics are just poetry. I love clever songwriting... this is what "ballad" has evolved into in 2010. Amazing work.
beautiful song... just gets me in the gut and waters my eyes. anyone who likes this should know the musical inspiration and vocal stylings are those of Mark Hollis of Talk Talk. Check out the last Talk Talk album, "Spirit of Eden" or his solo album, "Mark Hollis"
Underworld does a soft ballad, and it's wonderful! Great lyrics, and it's nice to hear Karl Hyde really sing instead of mumbling some random words. ;)

It reminds me of Eno. But still unique in that Underworldly way. This is gorgeous

@allways28 I'd rather listen to someone making music, than someone making no sense. I prefer artists that enunciate their words.
