Are you guys crazy? What's intimidating about seeing people's faces? This video shows they're clearly being loud enough. Some people just complain too much... It's LA.. enjoy it.
I agree. There are nearly 19,000 peple at the Staple Center, yet watching on TV, you would never know it. Let the opponet see the crowd so that they can also be heard!!
Staples Center isn't the same as it used to be. Back in the Shaq and Kobe days it was a much more intimidating atmosphere and a more dominant home court for the Lakers. I always thought that they should've left the lights in the crowd on because it just makes the crowd itself seem intimidating.
@dwilliams02 Its nothing to do with how loud the crowd is but ya ur right its the fact that the put out the lights in the crowd. They really should turn back the lights in the crowd.
Has nothing to do with lights. From 2000-2002, real fans weren't priced out. The noise in that Game 7 against Portland came from up top, not those celebs and smug wealthy bastards who make up the first few rows. Trust...Staples can get noisy...but Laker fans got spoiled with the success, so they are much more lethargic than other teams fans who haven't been on top. Just comes with winning.
dis was a beautiful game
