She became a Dame just like all the other British ladies Maggie Smith Liz Taylor many of them it is a title given to the English by the Queen. Most of the women become that in England not because of playing a Queen. She has always sang like a caberet singer with a throaty voice since the age of around 21. Most people do not know that she is a theater singer even to this age she performs on stage and it is packed to a full house.She is a cabaret singer not a opera or classic singer .

She can be quite gorgeous at times when she is out in the theater with all her make up and hair done . she does not believe in facelifts she said she wants to grow out with grace, if i even look like that at her age. She still has sex appeal.Look she just got a boyfriend of many years her junior and they seem very happy together.

i love this her top opens and she keeps performing the trooper she is. Judi starting singing caberet at a young 20 something if you never knew she was a singer and she sings like a cabaret or a club singer she is known for her low singing voice and speech. We love her. A member of her fan club. Billy Connolly said she is so wonderful and he loves her.

Our fan club goes to see her live in london and she spends time with each girl or guy indivually after doing two live shows at her age and she has to be exhausted. But she never says no to photos and autographs. what a lovely entertainer she is.

Open exchange or ideas and opinions? Hmm if thats what you want to call your childish and bitcy comment then I wont disagree. But i would like to openly exchange with you the opinion that you seem to be not a terribly nice person judging people on personal appearance, choice of outfit and a clearly comic and light hearted song. I would be very unhappy if I was so insecure that I needed to denigrate extremely talented people but then perhaps its just jealousy.

Cate Blanchett is the only close contender, but is really just a younger version of the same brilliance.

It never matters what Judi Dench does, where she is, who she's in the company of, or if her wardrobe does happen to malfunction, she makes an incredible go of it and always comes off as completely cool & brilliant! A completly beautiful human being.
