@cbcnate I would say it beats any other military shooter when it comes to fun factor as well. But only in singleplayer. Multiplayer isn't very well thought out. Spawning system sucks. I like large maps, but there should be mobile spawnpoints.

@cheesismrulez Only in a multiplayer aspect. As Arma 2 with ACE on Mulitplayer is more realistic than PR. Since you communicate with other players to fly in transport, weapons, bombs, being able to effectivly cordinate with other squads to win the overall mission. Leaving helicopters without goggles goes blurry, weapon deafness, mud kicks up when shot/bomb lands, realistic ballistic shots, theres so much more than PR. I love PR and Arma 2 PR is even better than ace! I just listed some smal thing

Well to be honest you stay in touch with your transport squad in PR all the time too. I mean on 4km maps your not gonna go for a casual jog for 30minutes just to get to the objective are you?

No but PR is just a great game especially when you have mature people to play it with. Love it, also because its more objective based rather than god damn K/D based like all the new titles. Cough*BF3*cough

Arma 2 and PR Bf2 are both great games. But Arma 2 just has alot more little things to offer. But let's not forget PR is a small volunteer devloper where as bohiema is full blown developers.

I downloaded Arma 2 Free a while ago and then I bought the real copy. The A2F has really bad textures and is limited to 1 map I think. Now after I bought the full copy my textures are still rubbish but I can play on all maps.

Do you know how I can fix it? I mean im running everything on high and it looks terrible.

I mean no matter what I launch it always launches crap.

I uninstalled the Free version, problem persists. Ill reinstall Arma 2 Arrow head etc tomorow.

@cheesismrulez Wait actually, might be a simple way. when you go to your menu, "single player multiplayer options" etc etc...You see Expansions? Click that. it will bring up a list. Arma 2 should be activated. Arma 2 lite shouldn't be. If there is 1 Arma 2 activated and another not, activate one disable the other.

But uhm, you said disable the Arma Lite thing. But for some odd reason nothing in that list is enabled. I can´t press Enable, Disable or anything. They are all greyed out. No idea why?

@cheesismrulez I think arma 2 free version disables addons so the expansion would be totally disabled...you will have to do a full wipe of both games then reinstall should fix it
