Transparency in Modo should be as assigning transparent properties to the material. In the Shade Tree, select your material, below in the Properties window under Material Trans select a transparency amount that you want. That should be it. Make sure that in your shade tree that you don't have any other materials in that group that are sitting on above the transparent material or you won't see the transparency. Shade Tree feeds from the bottom up.
transparency's in modo, do you know how to make that work? I'm trying to create a low poly tree, but have been unable to get the textures to render transparent.
