First of all, thanks for the comment. I agree. I always thought the drum community was a very supportive one, but some of these YouTube commenters are pretty immature.

I received that china as a gift. For twenty bucks it really isn't bad at all. But in my opinion if you're gonna play live shows and record and all that it's usually worth it to spend a little extra and get a name brand.

Thanks for the criticism, but people weren't hating on my playing, they were simply commenting on the fact that I labeled this funky. I made this video four years ago. I practice all the time, and have improved a lot since then. My skills are good enough to get me into a prestigious music school, and land me enough gigs to make a living as a professional drummer. Hate all you want but I'm obviously doing something right.

Just because you only use snare, kick, hi hat and cymbals doesn't mean you groove more. This is a groove, but it probably has more tom fills than you're used to.
