  • The 2009 version hardly slows down your computer.

  • get nod

  • ESET NOD32?

  • yes

  • that dont help Lol

  • What do you think of AVG vs Norton?

  • i have norton 2009 and its great on resouces only making my computer stay at a steady 3-9%

  • Norton could Strongly Slow down your PC..

And AVG Is fully Protection and it's very useful

Norton is something not good.. I just don't know why :S

  • I must admint the 2006 version was crap! Sometimes use up the CPU usage to 100% when updating virus database and goes down to 3-5% CPU usage while the 2009 and 2008 idles 0-1% CPU usage

  • @fence1377 and avast is better than both

  • If you have a 2006 PC with vista, norton runs idle with 0-1% cpu usage

  • well yea thats what i have Lol

  • what really slows my computer is my anti virus at startup asking for install.

  • avast antivirus and google chrome all you need

  • avast sucks. Uses 100+ MB of RAM. use kaspersky, avg or avira - Please. I hate avast! Fanboys.

  • im not a avast fanboy i just use there virus service i was using norton antivirus untill it used up a shitload of space then i got avast

  • Well, I myself don't use Norton, because I like Kaspersky better but I haft to say that norton 2009+2010 are AMAZING when it comes to resources. They only use about 10MB, were avast! uses around 100MB. I think you should try Norton again. The older versions do suck, VERY badly though. I think Norton is going the right path now!!!!

  • hey if you could do me a favor and message me on here the download links to the new norton versions that would be good

  • Yeah, i have Norton 4 me self and it are so secure from all viruses

  • NO problem protects you from all viruses, spyware exc. But Norton (the newer versions) are WAY better than the older and really good on resources.

  • lol pointless program

  • nice thanks
