I guess you misunderstood. I thought this was a parody of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" the pop standard with words and music by Frank Loesser. I love your original song, love jazz music in general, and was really taken back by how good this was. Being one of my favorite Christmas songs, I thought this was a tribute/parody.

You know..in a way it could be considered a bit of a tribute! I knew of the original tune but tried not to copy it and take a little more modern approach with the lingo. The comedy take on the video was actually to counter the fact the song was all about sex and a bit blatant. The animator was kind enough to work with my story idea to soften the storyline a little. I am tickled you enjoyed it and made me consider the tribute! I did think of the song for a moment when I uttered the first line!

we were trying to steam it down a little because the song is all about sex and we wanted to make it more pg 13. sad to say we cannot change this now. the time it takes just to do one frame costs a ton. the animator made me a good deal but with my medical bills...no changing this now. i will keep it in mind though. might work the idea in to it when there is expendable income laying around again! maybe make a mature version!

you have the storytelling CD. that is the one to grab a few drinks and friends and listen to the stories with the songs. people say i am funny...i don't think so but who am i to argue if they found humor in my pain...ha ha ha snicker!

It is usually a lot harder to find humour in your own pain...the humour from your storytelling CD was in the introductions at times, not the lyrics in the songs. You sang the blues, perhaps your listener was more prone to laughing when they heard bad stuff happening - your blues music isn't whiney like a lot of other stuff I have heard. Passion and lessons as opposed to a simple "the world sucks but that's okay" message.
