Especially since mid to late 2007 when sales had dropped 15-17% the year before and many pop, metal, rock and country artists admittedly stated that the music industry would go downhill from there, and hip-hop/rap became the biggest and fastest growing genre to date, even more (currently on charts) than dubstep.
