This song should have been played in the movie the Horse Whisperer! It captures the true heart of someone who understands that precious animal and John devoted much of his life, not only to the environment and conservation of animal habitats but his songs say it all. He's out there somewhere helping those who can't help themselves. It's his music that helps one carry on....Miss you John

@raftindave When those who remember you die, maybe there is a chance that someone will get to know you from a picture, history, song, etc. There is also a chance that does who died passed the knowledge about you to their familiy/friends and your memory is passed on this way for the next generations. For instance, I never met John Denver. I only knew about him from an old music album from my father's collection. Since that day, there are quite a few more persons that know about John Denver. :P
