its not hard. It's harder to memorize all that lingo than it is to make a walk cycle. Plus he's left stuff out. The head moves up to it's highest position at high point and drops to it's lowest position at contact. If the head doesn't bob at all it looks very unnatural. It takes 14 drawings to make a really smooth looking walk cycle.
nice. help me a lot. but, could you (the author) or someone else make a video or indicated me one that shows it happening on the "skeleton" or bone of the character? i'm having a little trouble with finding the realistic angles and empiric "trial and error" is being very unproductive
Thanks for the tutorial! Where did you get the animation table? Mine's more diagonal and therefore a bit uncomfortable. That one looks closer to the table, and more easier to work with. Any links to where I could get it?
the baggy pants were a bad choice...it would have been helpful if you had worn shorts or tighter pants so we could see the position of your legs more clearly.
Thanks!
I like animators now.

you should so get this book:" The animator's survival kit" by Richard Williams. $20 bucks on amazon.
it has great breakdowns similar to what ^ he just did, but almost 400 pages of breakdowns & its the best thing ever.
