Sounds a little raspy on yours for some reason, others 5.3s w/Borla seem to be deeper on here, really hard to guage from these vids online vs in person, same vehicle on a couple other vids on here sound deeper which is more of what one would expect from Borla.

@cameronblair6 I'm the Sales Manager at a dealership in NY. Its hard to believe but they do make Z71 in 2wd. I sold one back in december. Its what my customer wanted so I sold it to them. They do it on Silverado's and Colorado's. I really don't understand the reasoning in doing it but they do so I just sell them.

@Baker8807 I guess the states is different. In Canada I've only ever heard of it in 4x4, because you get a oversized stabilizer bar, rancho shocks, skid plates etc. What does Z71 mean for options as far as 2wd goes?

@cameronblair6 The Z71 package that includes the Rancho Shocks is the Z71 Appearance Package. It changes some stuff on the outside and on the inside of the truck. But if you were to get the normal Z71 you get the bigger skid plate and the Z71 sticker on the fender. The difference in the shocks is like .1 so its really not a big deal anymore. Over time they have made the overall truck heavier.

no the exhaust smooths off once you get to a cruising speed and is really not all that loud at all... you hear it deep when you take off or punch it while going down the road... I work in an exhaust shop and must we put this set up on a lot of new silverados.... thanks

@adamshirl10 Probably means does it stay at an annoying decibel level while at cruising speeds like some exhausts tend to do? Awesome setup btw love that sound and Im usually a magnaflow guy! Probably the best sounding exhaust of the new silverados. Not a fan of the straight pipe setup or flowmasters. Good job bro!
