  • wooooooooooooow awesome - I'm speechless

  • what is the name of the singer 3:16?

  • The music on this is amazing and powerful, but the video editing is atrocious. The average shot last 2 seconds.

  • It has a lovely and warm sound. I really love this piece. They really sound like angels.

  • I've checked the lyric, but there has many versions. Can any one please paste the lyric of this version? Merci Boukoup.

  • I hear English words, and other languages. What are those Languages in this song?

  • @1989johnny08 I think the lyrics are English and Italian.

  • Does anyone know where I can find more information on this video? Musicians, lyrics, etc.?

  • Simply amazing :)

  • what a beautiful, classical song! I love it!

  • very nice, but the video cutting is poor and confusing!

  • So happy to see that God-given talents are used to bring His light and hope to the darker corners of life.

  • super...

  • WoW, that is soooo stunning!!!!!!!!!! You guys all have such warm hearts..... :) Makes me want to have each and every one of you as a family!!!!! :) Good Bless you for your hard work!!!!

  • I cry every time! Amazing performances. More amazing...that God hears our prayers, and responds in ways we cannot always see. Thankyou to all who were involved.

  • If only we could have replaced that shitty We Are the World with this :3

  • An iincredible experience for members of Libera....this will be a life-changing experience for them ... a gift that few ever are privileged to. CONGRATULATIONS and keep up the standards which you now present.

  • I love this rendition. I listen to it over and over again. It is a prayer to God.

  • one of the best versions of this classic song. for me, it sounds better in choir format rather than a single singer or duet version.

no offense celine deon and josh groban :(

  • Wow. Absolutely stunning. Most inspiring collaborative project I have seen in a long, long while.

What I really love is that there are so many talented singers giving it their all with their powerful voices, and it's wonderful. But then Libera adds that touch of gentle angelic harmony that completes it and makes it doubly wonderful, especially at parts like 3:20 and 4:04

Although I would love to see a Libera-only version at some point :]

  • Does anybody know the soprano sax player

  • @symphonyplayer Yes, the sax player is Julian Smith. He came third in Britain's Got Talent 2009 behind Susan Boyle and Diversity.

  • After all these months, I still get goosebumps and an almost overwhelming urge to cry when Aled starts singing with Libera in the background. It's just such a beautiful sound. I know some Libera fans were disappointed that Libera didn't have a bigger part but I think they were used perfectly. It's just fantastic. I could listen to it over and over and over.

  • I wish I could buy it in uruguay

  • I wish there was an instrumental for this song together with the libera as the backing voices which flows throughout the song .. :D

  • OMG! This was soooo beautiful. Thank you for this inspiring rendition

  • Awesome! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

  • this is gorgeous. i had the biggest goosebumps and tears in my eyes.

  • the way her voice goes at 3:38 is pretty mental

  • @scaler2007 - Is that good or bad?

  • This is just....AHmazing!!! xD.

  • Believe it or not, the guy at 2:53 is the Go Compare tenor.

  • Paul Potts.......^.^ AHwesome

  • @KanyaWaranchai I think Mini Ben did the high note :):)

  • they are all so famous...you'd think they could unnonciate

i csnt understand wat they r saying

  • @kynima - "enunciate." But I do agree with you!

  • Wish Libera had been given a larger part.

  • I hope libera would have a version of this song to their album!! I want to hear them sing this and I am sure to love it!!

  • The only black mark on this video is that The Mail bailed on the project long before any semblance of recovery has taken place in Haiti. One is left to understand that this project was just a short term PR gig for them.

It is unfortunate that the recording could not have been turned over to something like iTunes for on-going benefit to the recovery process.

  • @BrianColgate totally agree with u.

  • Brilliant!

    This is just incredible!

    So well done!

    Full of Spirit and Emotion!

    Endless Thumbs up!

    Bear

  • tan hermosa cancion y aqui en usa nadie sabe de ella

  • One of the most beautiful pieces I have EVER heard! Stunning!

  • How come this song doesn't seem to be on itunes?

  • @seekeroffun21 It was for a special promotion for the UK only. I also wish they would make it available in the United States, so that we can support the cause and have this beautiful rendition of the song in our collections - I would love to have it! :)

  • @Ebonyteach I live in the UK but still can't find it on itunes. Very weird - maybe it was only available for a short time but that doesn't seem logical.

  • wicked!

  • why is this not being performed at the Classical Brits this year????

  • That's just simply beautiful.. It's so soothing to listen to..

  • nice one, I love it

  • I looked everywhere for this song! Simply breath taking.

  • Simply beautiful x

  • FANTISSIMO!!!!!! :)

  • The perfection gave me the chills and made me cry. As close to Heaven on Earth as it gets. Thank you for making me feel passionate about music at least for a little while. It has been a long time. What amazing voices.

  • as much as i don't want to say, let me just do so that this is way better than we are the world.. in other words, i have more respect for this.. not that i don't have any for we are the world but still.....

  • @flashylighty I agree. It's not that I didn't like "We Are The World". It's just that, I didn't really feel it. It even made me wonder a bit if all of them really meant what they were singing. It lacks the feelings that you're supposed to feel while listening to it. Unlike this. I felt it. I felt the emotions that the song (and the singers & musicians) wants us to feel.

  • this is good

  • i got goostbumps...soooo lovelyyyyyy

  • If this performance doesn't evoke an emotion in a person, that person is dead inside. Absolutely stunning.

  • So Great :)

  • I prefer the original version

  • Ofcorse i like the version of Celine and Andrea more, but this is beautiful !

    love this song !

  • Lovely video and song. However, if you blink, you miss Libera. At least you got in on it...no matter how short! Good for you, boys.

  • brought me to tears...absolutely beautiful!!

  • What a beautiful collaboration. I could listen to this over and ove again. It brought joy to my heart. Thanks for sharing such a wonderul song with us.

  • Could this starter Creole help us find a tri-lingual musical dialogue? St Trinity school? Nou ap priye ouap bon Veye kot nou ap ale Ede n pou n ka saj Nan moman sa le nou pa ka konnen Fe sa priye pa nou Toutan ke nou ap cheche rout nou an Men n yon bo Guid n ak gras ou an Yon bo kot nou ka jwenn sekou Ste Trinité - malgre tout blok yo krase, esk n ka chante ak la fwa mezami
  • what do you mean?

  • Magnificent.

The original song was sung by Yolanda Adams and Donnie McClurkin around the late 90s I believe. All these singers did a wonderful job covering it.

  • Sorry. This one is Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli song for the movie "Quest For Camelot" from 1999.

Yolanda and Donnie covered it in 2003 =)

  • @dj4celine Oh, I see. Thanks for the correction. =)

  • @randomutubejunk You're welcome! =)

  • This is a beautiful song and a great dedication to Haiti...simply lovely...awesome...I got goosebumps just listening to it...!

  • Lovely!....may the joy expressed by the sounds and voices translate into action for the people of Haiti!

  • sososo beautiful and perfect for the Easter season to remind us to love everyone and to help those in need

  • Damn I am sleepy now! Man I need a pillow!

  • ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS. GOD BLESS EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE MAKING OF THIS EFFORT, THE ORIGINAL SONGWRITERS, EVERYONE WHO BUYS THIS ALBUM, AND MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS HAITI.

    We love you, Haiti.

  • Wonderful! Excelsior! Special thanks to josh levi on CNN

  • wow

    4B_vrYtou0Q

  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, There is also a version done in Hawaiian and English by the "Moanalua High School Orchestra", "Ho'okena" and "Maila Gibson" here in Hawaii also for charity. Search for it I'm sure you will enjoy that one as well! Aloha!

  • Absolutely awesome - thank you Josh Levs for promoting this on CNN. What a wonderful gesture for just a heartbreaking cause. Let's get out there and buy the CD.

  • Absolutely fantastic - I am just so glad that Josh Levs promoted it on his CNN slots. My heart sings out too

  • this was awsome

  • Don't want to overstate, but man we humans can get it right sometimes... There is beauty in what we can do together. especially when it is for others.

  • OH... MY GOD... This is so beautiful and inspirational... it actually brought tears to my eyes. As I sit in my warm, safe home, drink my hot coffee on my cozy couch with my laptop (of course) on my lap... I will pray for those in Haiti and Chili and all over the world less fortunate than I... This is a beautiful way to bring awareness and hopefully needed funds to help these people. Thank You...

  • Has there ever been anything to cause you to want to give, and give, and give again, until it hurts, and then give again. Has there ever been anything so moving for such a worthy cause?

  • This song is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish this were on itunes in the US (does anyone know I can get this?)

  • I'M LOVING THIS!!!!!! Specially the part where LIbera sang the highest notes. someday soon, someday soon.....

  • this is just beyond amazing its breathtaking :D

everybody did a good job and the arrangement was fantastic.

  • omg so beautiful derek combe martin devon

  • Proud of your guys!

Proud for LIBERA for their participation to this meaningful service of caring. To believe, we know that any threat to the world can be overcome. Cheers for that!

    Congratulations!

  • I love Libera in background :)

  • This is most heartouching. May God save Haiti.

  • Sorry if this comes through twice...

    Here's who sings what where:

Natasha Marsh: I pray you'll be our eyes, and watch us where we go.

Faryl Smith: And help us to be wise, in times when we don't know

Paul Potts & Elysium: Let this be our prayer, as we go our way

Only Men Aloud, Paul & Bond: Lead us to the place

OMA, Faryl, Paul & Bond: Guide us with your grace. To a place where we'll be

    safe

  • @tb5jones you lack lots of singers including Libera, Rhydian, Operababes, All Angels, Camilla...

  • @muicachua1593 : I know, I tried to copy and paste the list but gave up after it took so long. There's a list of the artists (and the lyrics they sing) at the Angelvoices/St. Philips Boys' Choir/Libera Yahoo group, message #25092 if you're really interested in who's singing. I can't post the link for some reason

  • @tb5jones Thanks :) it's one of my most favorite songs now, beside the version by Bocelli and Celine

  • Here's a list of who sings what:

Natasha Marsh: I pray you'll be our eyes, and watch us where we go.

Faryl Smith: And help us to be wise, in times when we don't know

Paul Potts & Elysium: Let this be our prayer, as we go our way

Only Men Aloud, Paul & Bond: Lead us to the place

OMA, Faryl, Paul & Bond: Guide us with your grace. To a place where we'll be

    safe

Darius: La luce che tu dai

Operababes: I pray we'll find your light

    Darius: nel cuore restera

  • So, so moving! ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT!

  • wonderful.................................

  • goosebumps, beautifull!

  • Great song, but Libera was the best part...obviously, lol.

  • I heard Libera in the middle and the end, of course at the highest notes. Well-done Libera!

  • the song itself is beautiful... the artists --- absolutely breathtaking... and the best part of it --- it's for a good cause... need I say more?! =)

  • When they were singing about children, they should have gave that part to Libera.

  • @DoctorVince - agreed, whoever arranged the piece should have realized that. Good call.

  • Downright breathtakingly beautiful, and an effort made for such a noble and important cause!

So good to see Libera work together with so many talented singers and musicians.

I'll share this video with as many people as possible and spread the word wherever I can.

    ~Michael
