It will take an experienced user less than 30 seconds. takes only a little longer than barrel switch.

u can disassemble an AUG without using any tools at all, so no problem there.

This weapon is so impressive. Why haven't the US military adopted it? It has no recoil at all. And it's compact and bullpup, which makes for longer barrel with compact design, and longer barrels mean more accuracy.

Australia is the real smartass. They took the AUG A2 and modified it with a kit similar to the french FELIN. It's undoubtely the best-equipped military infantry right now.

Steyr AUG A3 is better than the A1 in many ways, but the best thing about it is its RAS or in lamens terms Rail Accessory System. You can add an EOTECH holographic sight, a 2x ACOG Scope, a red dot sight and many more. Another good thing is that the body has a different shape and feel.

Best machine gun, well I considered it a MG but it's supposely a "sub", is the Kriss V. I wish I can try it out but only the reviews from a few testers says it's the best out that. When I finally found a good unbias vid it turn out to be the best. It's one of those things you know it's great just being seeing it in action.

no muzzle climb!!! pretty much. man its gay the semi auto version cost at least 2 grand. for that kind of money i could buy an m1a. well one day maybe i'll own one. i like the a3s with the forward rails and the 18 inch barrel better because then you can put rail covers on the bottum and you don't have to use a vertical grip

Its not ambidextrous. Ambidextrous means you can use it with either hand... In order to use the AUG in either hand you have to change out the bolt so that the extractor kicks brass to the left, and change the ejection port cover to the left side which means you have to disassemble the rifle.

One of the only ambi bullpups I know of is the FS2000 which ejects rounds out the front of the rifle.

i used that rifle while i was in military service. it never jammed (the gun was exposed to heat, cold, sand, water and so on) and it is quite easy to clean too.

but the recoil is comparable with other rifles of the same caliber but much better to control due to the low weight and compact design.

Bullpup is the way forward its a lot easier to handle weather your reloading or firing on full auto , the only downside is they dont generally be ampidextrous

Oh and by the way, the ones you buy in the US aren't made by Steyr, they're made by Sabre Defense. Check the side label of one if you don't believe me. They do this to avoid the 10 round cap for imported assault rifles.

Yes, it does. Very reliable. First time I've heandled and fired it I was surprised by the quality of the plastic, i was expecting the 1960 cheap-o M16 plastic but that is tough sutff.

Operates like a charm, accuracy is above average (except for our crappy basic-training rifles, they are pretty much beaten up, not zeroed properly etc.) and the recoil is non-existent.
