But I also value the ability to discern between fact and giant leaps of mischaracterization based on misleading political rhetoric by the loyal opposition. Efforts to foster caution by inciting and manufacturing fear, is a disservice. And attempts to stifle heath care reform proposed by a party opposite, by drawing parallels to Nazism, benefits no one.
I consider Obama to be closer to Mussolini than Hitler, though he shares features with both. As the war on terror grinds on, Obama is taking the same steps they took after WWI. Like the US, they faced increasing national debt they could not rationally hope to pay off, and used the same Keynesian economics Obama did as a stimulus before finally resorting to WWII.
