Just saw this video. I was confused to why he was mad that you went to his home regardless to the 80 miles, some people aren't rational in there opinions.

My Church is doing a Jerusalem gospel, meaning we are going to knock on every door in our Church town in the next month. We are also Baptist, and believe the best way to get the gospel out is by door knocking.  I don't believe its wrong to boast about God/Holy Spirits power used through you to save lives.

Minor correction, JCheek8 - NewSpring Church, while differing greatly from the Baptist church this guy controls, isn't liberal. Liberal churches are those who make a radical departure from the Gospel of Jesus Christ, substituting it with a social gospel & throwing in other non-Christian elements. A good example is the Episcopal church, with the Anglican Church of England has abandoned because they embraced homosexuality.

However, Baptists like Steven and myself will use the word to mean folks that use different versions, different music, don't evangelize, teach heresy, etc. As far as NewSpring goes...as I understand it, they use CCM, and so, as far as I am concerned, they are "liberal" and I wouldn't go there. But sure, Newspring might not be liberal based on the strict definition.

From a Christian perspective, a LIBERAL (non-political) is one who denies some of the underlying truths of the faith, such as the deity of Christ, or His resurrection. Nothing to do with their type of music.
