I've been with T-mobile for 3 years, they give a upgrade discount as 179.99-that's cheaper than things I owned. They got good deal, I don't need NOW as 400 bucks because I can wait. As It would be a week for me 2 get. So, It's not a bullshit..That phone price is a best deal I ever got than Iphone that I had to sented back, they suck. Oooo! Virtual keyboard, I don't give a fuck about that. Full QWERTY keyboard and Android will do.

Comparing Phone and PS3, this is bad for real because comparing both of them are way differnt since PS3 is a portable, phone is a phone. I would prefer to get out of house and havin' G1 2 surfin internet, talkin' ims and seeing virtual street view dat I won't be lost. Than stayin' my ass @ home. F*#K dat shit.

Also I'm biggest fan of google and it's bout time they stepped up since people say Iphone definitely suck with their service,data.

Thats like comparing bagles to airplanes. They r totally different things. A ps3 isn't portable, doesnt have a phone and so doesnt xbox360. yeah I know but if you had a choice to get something this holiday and you only had a partial upgrade for the g1, or a game system.

I mean I knew about the g1 3 months ago. once I heard the partial upgrade price, I said BU$&*$*&#! so I am just saying if you have full upgrade get it. if you have a partial upgrade and want a new game system, get the game system.

Well you have to understand that if you only have a partial upgrade available then you arn't looking at a full discount. Your still getting a hell of a deal on a phone that is practically perfect! But i guess it just matters where you put your prioritys...don't knock tmobile for not giving you a full discount if you havn't had your contract for long enough!

thats nice & wise decision . i read in news paper that HTC G1 will launch in India on dec 2008. so i change my decision i may brought G1 ( rather then waiting for G2) if it comes with prepaid connection. Post paid is totally nono for me .

Okay here is where I disagree. You cant keep up with technology so if the phone doesnt have something you want id say wait or go for something else.

If everything appeals to you then go for it. if you wait youll be doin it forever bcuz once you walk out the store there is a better one on the market. Ive already my G1 but if someone wants an iphone... who cares its not comin outa my pocket.

Stay as far away from that thing as possible. Its just a cheap pos. the graphics are crappy it looks and feels crappy. A friend of mine has this knock off. Ifyou want a good phone go with HTC. this G1 has the one thing iphone has of most htc phones and thats video. Expandable memory, 3.2 mp cam + vid a better keboard and more. now we'll only need to see how it hold up after 6 months. Like the iphone tho it doesnt have turnbyturn navi which one of those blackberrys have(cant remember which)

So they have got the sliding featurs of the iphone. they are just missing the pinch zoom and the tilt sensor. the g1 is 1/3 of the way to the iphone at 3 times the size. good phone though.
