Just a thought here why would a Megalodon eat 1 person? We're talking about a 40-70 foot, 40-80 ton shark what is eating 1 person gonna do for it? Not trying to be a jerk or anything I'm just asking. One of the reasons I like the movie Shark Hunter is because the Meg attacks a relatively large sailing boat, a research station, and a submarine things it viewed as a threat. Good video though!

I have read some of Steve Alten's books, they are GREAT. Better than any movie you have seen on the MEG! I was kinda hoping they would do a movie of his first book. Never happened, I guess. And, no, I don't think the megalodon still exists. If it was , we would have seen it, believe me. Deep in the oceans are probably smaller fish and creatures we haven't seen before, but something this big is bound to come up a bit further, to find something to feed on, like whales.
