  • I sure do miss Ron. Love that I can listen to him now and again. Am working on being teacher of this and living this. It has changed my therapy practice and my life. Lynne Accetta

  • Still using Hakomi as my core method 23 after training in the UK. Met Kurtz twice, once in Colorado, once in the UK, he embodied for me the Chinese translation of Hakomi: Reverend Universal Laughter. Following the process, it's almost unheard of nowadays in the academised, pushy world of modern counselling with it's CBT bullshit and psychodynamic nothingness. I am hugely grateful to Ron and all the Hakomi people and very sad to find he has died.

  • Ron is certainly a master therapist, his relentless generosity offered to the world by giving, sharing and dispersing his self generated teachings through the trainings available via his Hakomi Way is profound and life altering.

Those of us sufficiently fortunate to be so gifted to have been involved in the work of self recovered through and by Ron's work are truly blessed.

    Unlimited star recommendation.

  • I just began my training in the Method in California. I wrote in my journal two years ago that as a bodyworker/healer/whatever it is I am... the purpose of my process was to come home to myself, home to my body and to help guide others there too. You have a provided a beautiful road map for that journey and I thank you for it.

  • As the organiser of Hakomi workshops and trainings in Western Australia for the past 10 years I experienced hundreds of people having been touched by the Hakomi experience on the deepest level. I believe that 'coming home' would sum it all up. Coming home to oneself where all the past and present unite and out of where the future arises. Coming home to the wisdom within that we all hold in our bodymind. Hakomi has truly enriched my life as mentor, mother, and friend. Thank you Ron.

  • You're welcome, Halka! I'm still working on improving the method, seeing clients, teaching workshops and trainings, writing and having a wonderful family life. I'm happy that the work has helped people. It has made my life a joy.

  • @ronk1934 Just got your message. You're more than welcome. Creating the method, which I'm still doing, was one of the great gifts I received in this life. I'm more than happy to share it with anyone who'd like to have it. Ron

  • Thanks for the reminder to slow down, feel, and trust.

  • Ron Kurtz is a Master in being present in the moment and supporting others to do/be the same. Loving kindness is embodied by him.I am honored to know him and to have studied with him.
