Here's to one of the greatest anime/manga/game series of all time! The games may no longer be the same, but it was a great ride, the thrill of fighting the phases of Morgana from the first 4, the incredible story behind it also. The troubles of a young man wanting to help his friend and get revenge only to find something more than he hoped for, along with the changing of his personality and it's great story. May they be forever remembered in our lives and the next!

Its pretty good; if you played the 3 games you gonna get a little mad since they changed a lot of parts around. Overall its a great movie!

@HackLiminality Watching the movie I didn't get mad at all. I like the fact that they took different directions but stuck to the same plot. I was a little unset they ignored the recoil effect from the use of Rebirth but I still loved the ending of the movie. (not going to say much more in case of spoiler)

It always confuses me when people that don't speak Japanese judge Japanese voice actors. How the hell would you know if they sounded good or not? How would you know if english voice actors don't sound like the characters are "supposed" too, if you don't know what they sound like the begin with?

I agree! (: I think some people are just too picky about voice actors and are never pleased, or expect them to be exactly the same as Japanese. People are just different, and I'm glad I'm not the only one saying, "The English voices are just fine!"

I would prefer to watch anime in japanese with english subs its sounds funneir and more natural and in english it just sounds like something is missing well thats my oppinion. :D

and his oppinion is great skieth3, personally I usually prefer subs with the jap voicing, however, it will NOT ruin the series if its in dub... if you dislike the dub DONT WATCH IT! problem solved -.-.... just stick to the subbed version

Fan dubs are best. ;P

Thats just my opinion, but, yes. I do prefer the subs, and try to avoid the dubs as much as possible.

It's even worse than that. Somehow, even if they're good dubbers, anime just doesn't sound as good in english as it does in japenese. I'm not sure why, but it's something I've noticed whenever I watch english dubs (usually just for laughs)

i totally agree with you ^^ some anime i watched in dubb (just for laugh) were as good as the original version ( for exemple full metal alchemist dubbed in french was as good that the japanese one the voice were almost the same xD)

Still i usually stick to watch the series in its original language ( for exemple avatar the last air bender or ben10 totally sucked in french dubbing and i'd rathr not talk about kim possible dubbed in japanese ^^ sometimes some things are better left untranslated)

@skieth3 some english dubs suck major ass, that's a fact, I gotta agree with you. Fortunatly, .hack//GU is different, having one badass dub and maybe the best voice acting I've heard in Video Games so far. Haseo is just awesome.

It is basically a retelling of the games.

And like most retelling, they change some of the events.
