Kobe is great and im not saying wade is better, but the past three seasons wade has averaged more points, reb, assist, blks n steals. and he takes less shots n has a better shooting percentage. Kobe is great and im not saying wade is better, but the past three seasons wade has averaged more points, reb, assist, blks n steals. and he takes less shots n has a better shooting percentage. @heat2262 Kobe is 3 years older and has racked up a lot of mileage on his body than Wade. 15 seasons, 7 finals, multiple playoffs etc. He has 4 knee surgeries as well. It's unfair for Kobe because he is older and is not as fast /explosive as he once was.
If you're comparing. Kobe at 27, 28 years old is better than Dwade at 27, 28 years old. And then prime Kobe 21-26 years old is a lot better than Dwade at 21-26 years old

Here I go, Wade is a more efficient scorer than Kobe. Wade's career average is 25.4ppg 18.4 FGA w/ 48.5% shooting to Kobe's 25.3ppg, 19.4 FGA w/ 45.1% shooting. As you see, Wade averages more points while shooting less shots at a higher percentage. That being said, Wade is the better & more efficient scorer....BRB

You know why Wade fg% is higher than Kobe ? Because he take less shots than Kobe and most of Dwade shots is near the rim. His game consist of driving in, dunks or euro steps etc. If you limit Dwade from getting near the rim he won't be as effective whereas Kobe can shoot outside, pull up midrange, etc. Kobe is a better scorer than Dwade .

The reasoning isn't a way to excuse Wade or Kobe...The fact that he averages more points, while talking less shots with a higher FG% shows that his style is more effective/efficient than Kobe's style. Meaning if Wade have the ball he's more likely to get the ball in the basket than Kobe. I'm taking the more effective/efficient guy. Numbers don't lie!

@Kenny1984 Kobe is the man. No doubt. He may be a better 3 point shooter. He's better at creating shots for HIMSELF in the clutch. He's more of a scorer. But he's not a better all around player than Wade. He takes tougher shots while Wade is more selective. That's why Wade's shot % is better than Kobe's. Wade's a better defender. Kobe's a great defender..at times. Wade's stats (rebounds, assist, steal, shot %) are better than Kobe's. Wade's athleticism gives Kobe matchup problems too.

We love Kobe for making tough shot; but when he forces shots, he brings his shot % down and takes his teammates out the game. Wade's drive put pressure on the other team. And thats what you're suppose to do against the zone. Drive to the basket and pass it to your open teammate when the defense collapse inside.

If two players are both averaging 25ppg then you can compare there FG%. If one player averages 7ppg while the other one averages 25ppg then it's irrelevent to compare their FG%. Do you know there a lot of stuff that don't show up on stats ?
For example a player can go 2-15 shooting for 3 quarters but then he make the last 5 6 basket in 4th to win the game for the team. On stat his shooting would look bad but in reality he was the guy who carry the team to the win
Another example is. A player can pass 15 times a games to his teammates but his teammates brick 10 of those passes thus only give the player 5 assists.

@Kenny1984 Kobe is still one of the best. 25.3ppg, 5.3rpg, 4.7apg. I'll explain the style and mindset he has. Kobe is a scorer (said so himself). He looks to create for himself. He guns frequently, which takes his teammate off their game. So by the time he does pass he ball, they are out of rhythm. Players like CP3, D-Will, Lebron, WADE give good assist because they're team first and they pass to their teammate. Keeping them in the game and in rhythm. Shaq did this too.

@Kenny1984 Odom started off as being a good player. Wade and Odom lead the Heat to the playoffs when he was there. Reguvenated his career until he was traded to the Lakers. Kobe's style could keep Odom in rhythm like Wade did when Odom was with the Heat. Thankfully Phil returned and help acquire Odom's game for the team.

From 05-08 Odom was a brick machine and most inconsistent player on the Lakers. Only thing he does well is rebound but then that's his job for being 6'10 and play PF
