@BigGordonLips no mechanical animals was the best album he ever made the theme was amazing the songs were eargasmic mechanical animals is so good! probably one of the best albums ever made by anyone
I've heard a number of things behind the meaning of that shot.
#1: He's supposed to be something like Michael Jackson (the Jackson five, then Michael's skin turning Ghost white later on, who Manson represents).
#2: They needed to throw an extra cut in the video, to equal 87, where, if you use Pythagorean theorem, is equal to 15. 15 is the number that symbolizes Many things, But mainly, it's Manson's number.
And what are you going to say when you get to university math and start doing partial derivatives inside matrices and isomorphs (kind of easy) and calculating irregular surfaces? I think his music goes a million times deeper than the pythagorean theorem. Although I was called foolish for thinking the highest math (like String Theory) could figure him out. I bet he doesn't even know what string theory is. It's quite possible that mathematically he means nothing.
His job is an entertainer!! I bet you his math isn't as strong as mine!! Let alone a string theorist!! There are only about 30 people on the planet that understand string theory. He only went as far as journalism. Although I think there is some hidden mathematical meaning in his music i.e. the Fibonacci sequence in "Count to Six and Die" which is basically from multivariable calculus.
Well I actually was being ironic about that which is why I picked that to say. Though I guess I didn't make it clear enough. However is still stand my guard when I say he is very smart. I think he is very smart even if he isn't intelligent in math, which I'm sure he is enough. And definitely smart in other things like life...
I didn't mean to imply that there is math in journalism which it might sound is like what I meant. I meant how far he went with his education. And yes I agree he is brilliant in several other areas including life.
WOW WANT A MEDAL.... Point is his music is inspiring... politions are treatened by his ways which is something always puts a smirk on my face... he says it how it is doesn't fuck around gets to the bottom line... in saying that hes some1 the public views as an idol your a nobody
its one of the only songs on this album that actually sounds like he's in a good mood about it, I love the depressing songs too it's just cool he has a song or two like this on the album
i didnt like this album because it wasnt "metal enough" and it was also too distorted (even the vocals).. eat me drink me (which has quiet the same style of music - maybe a little bit more goth-like) is better.. [just my opinion]
I believe that this album is the only one of MM's albums that could be compared to Eat Me Drink Me in any way. Even though I would agree that the music is not "metal enough", lyrics through the album are seriously "metal", especially more than Eat Me Drink Me. I still like EMDM though, the only album that I find casual for a musician like him is The High End Of Low (And I still like a few songs in that album.)
wow i just read all the comments one person said their parent took all their manson cds, thats mean, my mum bought a manson cd for herself when i was about 8 ever scince i loved his work, some sucks though, i love ther whole of the cd "golden age of grotesque"
