I'm all for people humbling themselves, turning from their sin, faithfully reading God's Word, praying, but don't be deceived, there are counterfeit spirits with real power who work for the Father of Lies so if there is a mixture of the holy and the unholy beware, because God is pure. 1st seek to know God through reading His Word & prayer, not by being 'slain in the spirit' which is not in the Bible where people only fell down backwards dead before God.

Emotionalism is a trap, that is true. But God does move, and I have seen it. I have experienced it. I am fairly conservative by nature, but resting and trusting in God and not putting Him in a box, and not trusting my own understanding, I have seen a lot.
The danger is two fold. One, we put God in a box and can't see Him working outside of what we understand or like. Two, we get trapped in the pack mentality, and are victims of emotionalism. In the middle, there is God.

Please take time to find out what happened with the movement and all the lives that were distroyed. If your only basing your affection on what you went through then, or felt. This is not biblical. As far as people falling back, and laying on the floor, and trembling,etc. My husband had a demon because of his involvement in the Brownsville movement, and had gotten a serious disorder from it. But when He renounced his involvment , and asked God's forgiveness, He was totally healed.
Sorry to hear that operawannabe, but when I went to Brownsville, I was healed and delivered and set free to worship God in spirit and truth. He opened my eyes to my sin. 4 days after my first visit, I realized that I had not smoked a cigarette. (is that the work of the Devil?) Do you have a relationship with Jesus? We must surrender our heart and emotions.. the scripture says to test the spirits. In meetings such as Brownsville revival it is a high point of experiencing God. It is not surprising that the Devil is concerned. So while being watchful, we cannot reject surrendering our spirit to God. The reason why the Devil intervenes and does things like done to your husband is because he doesn't want you to surrender your heart totally to God...

How can we know that this is of God by just seeing this video. From experience I can say without doubt that some of these kids in the video manifested demons. But that is common when God is at work. But how do we know if these are demonic powers and impartations like we saw in Lakeland or if this is the real thing here? We don't know the fruit nor do we know this minister. It's hard to say these days unfortunately.

Yes, When was the last time you put your finger in the light socket? Was the power of electricity jolting. This is God Almighty wer are talking about here. I have fallen under the power of my pastor, not because I was wrong, but his annointing and mine create an atmosphere of worship which ignites the Holy Spirit or gives room or acknowledgement of God where I can be or receive the Holy Spirit in Revelation. The Lord has personally used me to lay hands on people and the power of the Holy Spirit is the one that knocked them down. This is because the Lord wanted to do a work in them. It also tells me the atmosphere was inviting to the Holy Spirit. He will not show up unless He is wanted. The young want to see and hold on to more than what the world has to offer, that is why they are moved and are seeing the power of the Risen Christ on them and in services. It is the fire of the Lord in them.

This is not biblical. As far as people falling back, and laying on the floor, and trembling,etc. My husband had a demon because of his involvement in the Brownsville movement, and had gotten a serious disorder from it. But when He renounced his involvment , and asked God's forgiveness, He was totally healed.

He opened my eyes to my sin. 4 days after my first visit, I realized that I had not smoked a cigarette. (is that the work of the Devil?) Do you have a relationship with Jesus? We must surrender our heart and emotions.. the scripture says to test the spirits. In meetings such as Brownsville revival it is a high point of experiencing God. It is not surprising that the Devil is concerned. So while being watchful, we cannot reject surrendering our spirit to God. The reason why the Devil intervenes and does things like done to your husband is because he doesn't want you to surrender your heart totally to God...

This is sad thing what has came out from people like Rodney Howard-Browne. He really needs prayers of true Christians. All manifestations are not from Holy Spirit, all should be tested by the Bible and if something lacks from Bible and yet is happening, it is not from God. All people are so thisty to meet Holy Spirit and Jesus that they don't make questions of what is right and what is wrong. I am new here, but this I know; Jesus loves us all

How can we know that this is of God by just seeing this video. From experience I can say without doubt that some of these kids in the video manifested demons. But that is common when God is at work. But how do we know if these are demonic powers and impartations like we saw in Lakeland or if this is the real thing here? We don't know the fruit nor do we know this minister. It's hard to say these days unfortunately.

I know Michael Graham. He's not an entertainer or a phony. He's very humble and loves the Word of God. There was a time long ago where I was unsure about the crazy acts in some churches. You can be sure that it's for real. I felt it. It made me fall down, laugh, cry, and fall in-love with Jesus all the more. WE NEED THE SPIRIT. Or else we are telling the World a lie.

Lots of noise and amplification seem to be fairly important in causing people to fall down. That and a pursuasive hand of a leader on a childs head.

Only the mockers said the disciples were drunk. The other men were all amazed. I love this video and do not think it's disorder, but I have seen disorder (Lakeland). But the whole idea of the disciples acting drunk is not in the Word. The MOCKERS 'said'the disciples were drunk, but there is no other evidence saying it. We surely don't believe mockers.

The Lord has personally used me to lay hands on people and the power of the Holy Spirit is the one that knocked them down. This is because the Lord wanted to do a work in them. It also tells me the atmosphere was inviting to the Holy Spirit. He will not show up unless He is wanted. The young want to see and hold on to more than what the world has to offer, that is why they are moved and are seeing the power of the Risen Christ on them and in services. It is the fire of the Lord in them.

In your mode of thinking then the only reason people ever die or get sick is because of a lack of faith. By saying that if we believe a miracle will take place then it will, you are saying that people control miracles. No biblical scripture backs that up.
Where is the peace and comfort for parents who have children to die? Tell them they should have had more faith? That is not the peace, comfort and love of Christ! We have bought into the prosperity gospel and it is ripping apart our culture.

isnt this a bit much? i believe in god and in jesus' love and whatnot but i dont need to go have seizures over it. a little girl was freaking crying in there. she looked scared out of her mind. and if these people are falling down because they are "filled with love", how come they aren't collapsing and breaking something? ive seen people REALLY collapse and they break arms, sprain ankles, ect. im surprised that there was no 1-800 number so that people can empty their bank accounts to this.
