Dolphins fans shouldn't forget what this guy has done for our team. Chad Henne will start next year as he should but honestly Chad should be a franchise hall of famer for what he's done. Remember he's even helped Henne develop into an above average QB this season. If were lucky we fire David Lee and give Penny the QB coaching job.

When NY drafted Chad I figured they had their QB for the next 10yrs. and would have if not for idiot coach, who burned him out, letting him play with a torn rotator cuff - the fact he won playoff games and took the team to within a missed field goal of the AFC champ game lost on Jet fans, who never appreciated the intangibles (accuracy & leadership) which he brought, and were evident last season with Miami - hopefully he'll win a SB with the fish and cut the heart out of jets fans (again)!!!!

I loved every bit of it, and of course i despise Miami. I hated that move so much that I gave "that other quarterback" no credit even after the 8-3 start. Yes I don't acknowledge him by name. Penny taught the Jets a lesson that he did have it and they made perhaps the biggest mistake. He was faithful to NY and yes you're right, we Jets fans are very ungrateful for all he did. What Jets QB can say he led the team to the playoffs 3x in 5 seasons? Not even Vinny T can say that!

You know, I am a Jets fan, but I feel really good for Chad Pennington. He was a great QB in NY, but they really didn't realize that. He was the comeback player of the year in 2006 (and would be it again for the 'fins in '08) and he is (statistically) the most accurate QB in NFL history, and they thought it was his fault! I'm glad the now he gets to play for the Dolphins, because he gets what he deserves with them. He gets respect, and they love him. I miss him, but I think he's happier in Miami.
