What i mean is to place a camera that you might have thats water proof. To watch from the view of the boat. I've seen others do it, it just looks neat. Perhaps on the BOW, I'm not sure how they did it. I DON"T want to ruin such a nice RC boat
OK, got it then. There are quite a few such videos available in YT. As a matter of fact I like those movies lets say "medium". In my opinion such movies are far to much nervous. The best movies are from slower boats where you've got a chance to follow a more steady picture. But, it is a question of what somebody like or not. And luckily there is plenty of room for everybody! But thanks for your thoughts anyway!
Graupner does not produce this kit any longer. Therefore you best look out in Internet online auction or similar platforms. Search for JetStar Graupner.
Yes, just go for it. If it is this one or a similar it might be a fun project. If you get a kit you will notice, that it is looking not pretty the same (it is rather a toy than a scale model). But I might give you some hints to improve the look of it. Now just try to get one and then contact me again (about the comment regarding my life: yes, I would not complain ;) )
@RetoFor Actually, I choose to buy a 55" hull from eBay. Going to put 3 32 cc motors in it, with 2 gallons of gas it can hold. :D Winter project. :) Also it will have an extra fuel supply. :D
@RetoFor alright i dunno who to ask but ill try you, ive had a torpedo design for awile and i dont know if it would work. its propelled by a 380. primer cap that is struck mechanically. its in an airtight torbedo bay covered by a piece of seran wrap, when fired, the torpedo punches trough the seran wrap into the water and bouyuncy levels keep it under about a .25 of an inch. it detanats usinga springloaded pin fired into a 22. primer and the rest of the torp is filled with black powder
Well, I don't see a question in your comment but anyway I'm not the expert on explosives and torpedos. As a matter of fact I don't own any vessel out of the 'grey' fleet anyway except for a diorama of a sunken U-boat. Sorry for that!
Thank you for your kind comment and I fully agree with you that Frank has become a real good model filmer. I wonder how long it takes until the movie industry is getting aware of him ;-)
I am very sorry to disappoint you but Graupner does not make this model anymore. But from time to time you might find an offering in EBAY or similar Internet auction platforms. Just look out for Graupner JetStar. Anyway the original model does not look like mine in every detail but with a little bit of patience, plastic and color a lot my be done. The underwater light system is explained on my webpage (instruction manual for download). Webpage address may be found in my channel infos
Uh, not an easy question! If you are looking for "Ready-to-Run" boats you might look at any internet shop. Probably best find in the internet one with is in the US (e.g. Hobby King). But if you are looking for model kits it depends on the type of boat you are looking for.

Danke

Danke
