  • Same here Lance. I LOVED the melody on the chimes.

I hope you have a blessed Easter season!

    Ty

  • Thank you - He IS Risen, He IS Risen Indeed !

    Lance †

  • My all-time favorite hymn of all...I love Easter and all it stands for. One of the last times I saw my father alive was on Easter Sunday in 2002, and now that 3/4 of my grandparents are also gone, this hymn reassures me and gives me hope in the resurrection and all that Christ stands for. I cannot wait for the day when God will wipe all tears from our eyes and there will be no more sorrow and no more pain!!! Praise Him for his unspeakable gift!

  • @JemVonnemourne2

    Amen! Praise the Lord!

  • gorgeous......

  • sounds like there is 16' in manuals on first stanza

  • Nicely done. This is one of my favorite Easter Hymns. Thank you for posting this. Which is your favorite rendition on YouTube of JESUS CHRIST Is Risen Today which also includes a ful choir singing parts?

  • BEAUTIFUL!!! I am 52 years old, and this takes me way back to my childhood, when my dad, brother, grandma and I would attend arcadia presbyterian church..I loved the huge pipe organ, and loved this song on Easter! I would sing until I ran out of breath!

  • lovely, thank you!

  • Happy Easter !!

  • Happy Easter to you also, He is Risen †

  • Love this song, Love the way its played

  • I STILL can't get over how beautiful you play. and GRACEFUL, just like theorgan was meant to be played. God hassurly shone His light thru you. thankyou Lance, I have been practicing this song with 2 feet on a 13 pedal organ so I can play it on our church organ instead of piano that I normamlly play. I should probably make arrangfements to go to the church to practice the full pedal board before huh?

  • Thank you for your kind words and you're welcome.

It might be nice to go to the Church and practice on the Organ - GOD moves in mysterious ways, you never know what might happen !

  • I can see God's spirit coursing through your body as you play these songs. Totally Amazing!

  • You have taken me back to when I was a child and sat in awe at the massive pipe organ in the Lutheran Church that I grew up in in Canton, Ohio.

That was where I first fell min love with Jesus. Thank you for obeying the Spirit of God. in your ministry. You are blessing many including me. I will be praying for you.

  • Your welcome and HE IS RISEN ! Thank you for visiting and being such a loyal subscriber †

  • Your organ produces some amazing sounds. Your playing reminds me of hearing an organ master in Wales playing a pipe organ in a small church while his apprentice worked the bellows of the organ. Amazing!

  • That is quite a compliment - thank you Blessings †

  • Yw. I stand in awe of people who can express such beauty with a musical instrument. (I having all the musical talent of a hampster trapped inside a harpsichord.) You have been blessed with a great gift. Thank-you again for sharing it with us all and God bless!

  • YouTube has been telling me for two days that this video is no longer available. I'm so disappointed :-( Did it get taken down or something?

  • Oh yes, i sure remember me that song, i've learned that in school as a kid !

Ithink i'm going to download it, so i have something to listen to next week.

And yes, before i'm going on holiday for a week tomorrow, i have uploaded some videos too, from my organ that is, so check them out Lance, and tell me what you think. :)

    Greetings Mark

  • I remember learning this song shortly after I became a Christian and remember falling in love with such a beautiful, joyous, and reverent tune. Thank you for doing it such justice.

  • Oh, it's a bit early in the calendar, but what a great, glorious and hopeful hymn.

Can't wait to see the church decked out in lilies and the music swell like hardly any other time of year!

  • For me - EASTER is all year round - HE is Risen, HE is Risen Indeed †

  • I have to agree, Easter is truly year round! Thank you for your ministry of music!!!

  • Your welcome GOD Bless you †

  • Hi Lance!! I'm so thrilled and thankful God is using you to bless all of us! Thank you for being a willing tool of His. Praising Him is definately addictive!

    God bless you!

  • PRAISE God - Blessings to you †

  • Just out of curiosity, why is this one titled Christ the Lord is Risen Today and the other one is Jesus Christ is Risen Today?

At least in church I go to, their tunes are switched. But regardless, beyond amazing job! :D And I like how in the 2nd verse, you change the tune of the Alleluia.

    Keep the good songs coming!

  • Thanks some Hymnals use this Title, same tune. I know you meant the 3rd verse, I use the alternate Alleluia's, I have so many Descants on this Hymn but so limited on this small organ. Blessings to you †
