these water blocks are great for your card, special when u run any SLI or Crossfire set up.
mostly cuz the top card (or 2 top cards) will have very little room for good air flow and where they do get it there is a heat GPU from the lower card.
For me it doesn't really matter what he thinks about the products he reviews. I watch them cuz the reviews themselves are 'kickass' and really shows me what I want to see. The reviews have excellent noisedampening properties and wont scratch the surface.
This depends on the manufacturer. eVGA will honor their warranty provided you can replace the original HSF onto the vid card so it appears to be in the original boxed condition...
Thanks Rodney, great review. I've been surfing arround the web for info about ALL waterblock related coolers. Currently searching for the nVidia 8800GTX tho. Good enough.
I did not say AMD was better... there more for gamers who are on a budget and dont want to mess with OCing. I have a AMD X2 6000+ at 3.2ghz and I can max everygame cept crysis at 1920x1200 with my two HD 3870's. AMD is still fighting, sure there not as good as Intel and there newer stuff isnt that impressive but im still gonna get a x4 9600 Black Edition cause I love AMD and never had any probs with them.
Damnnn, That's a big Cooper Block, I hope it dos not bend my graphic card like the last one i had =). (it got bend so much, i can't bend it back. Now it broke =( )
Take a good look inside the dangerden 8800 gtx waterblock, and see if you call it "kickass". The quality is just crap, get a EK 8800 GTX water block if you want quality and better temps.

so it will end up making lot of noise.

Brass/Acetal tops ftw
CsS1337h4x0r 3 years ago 3
The acrylic cracked on me and destroyed $2,000 worth of hardware. Thanks Danger Den!
May that be a lesson never to buy any water cooling stuff that has acrylic.
ZeRo2545 4 years ago 2
Danger den are renound for there acrylic cracking
R3APERvsTYETREE 3 years ago
Thanks for the heads up, I was going to get DangerDen blocks as well. I'll stick with AlphaCool instead or EK.

False. DD is known for good products and will replace any block with cracked acrylic.

BrightSide2k 4 years ago
He gets the items he reviews for free. You don't think he actually pays for every single thing he reviews do you?

when are you going to do some Nvidia reviews
TheSlayerIsBack 4 years ago 2
when nvidia sends him stuff to review and that will be never:P
Joshua1320 4 years ago 2
some possible reasons
- i don't think nVidia don't sponsor him
- or he doesn't like nVidia?
isdonisgood 4 years ago
another possible reason is because amd is dying because they have crap products and want good publicity.
iunnox666 4 years ago
Wow you obviously know nothing.
Sha1dov 4 years ago
Thats because Intel can OC like 30% more than AMDs right? Is that why AMD is better? Is it?
NO STFU NOW.
