I saw them jam in Tucson. It was a hot desert night. Right at the beginning of this song, a huge REAL thunderclap rolled in from the horizon... in perfect unison with the song. I have never seen anything like it, in my life. One of those far-out coincidences. The band was thunderstruck at the auspiciousness of the event, and stopped the song and said, "Jim is here... Jim is definitely here"... and he was. This is a true story, btw.

terrible,ian astbury is a good singer but ray manzarek and robby krieger should of broke up when morrison died,the guy is irreplaceable,the tribute band DOORS ALIVE r the real deal.

I think its great that someone is keeping the Doors experience alive. I also think the negative comments are mainly because both their voiceover and soundtrack are too far removed from the original. If you try to improvise on  what was the ultimate rock sound, you are gonna get criticism.But lets keep it alive, man...

hahaha! I think Ian is one of the most powerful voices ever in rock, easily in the top 10, and does great with The Doors... but just a minute ago I thought about Val too, wondering if he would of accepted if offered the job. He did sing, they say, in the movie The Doors. Awesome movie.

Oh, Jim ain't dead. Hunt down an album called "The Phantom's Divine Comedy" by The Phantom... it was recorded three years after Jim died, and yet HE'S THE ONE SINGING. Morrison lives! :-)
