  • @wrighb10

Harry Potter before Godfather and 2001? Nah.

  • My favorite movie is Star Wars (Original Trilogy). (:

  • The year: 1982, the film: Blade Runner <3

  • We didnt ask for very nearly haha

  • Blade Runner Harrison, BLADE RUNNER.....

  • Harrison FORD said his favorite was To Kill A Mockingbird which is mine too. He said what I felt after leaving the movie theatre it made me think "TOLERANCE" which is something people don't have these days .. It was and still is my favorite of all movies.

  • he's red!

  • Boring answer from a boring actor

  • @MrRazorblade999 lol that's hilarious...... Must be why he flooded us with all of those blockbuster movies...... because he's boring. I bet if Harrison read this comment, he would laugh with the billions in his bank :)

  • @hotchsgirl2005 Hilariously stupid answer :-)

  • @MrRazorblade999 ahhh!! in your opinion yes. in mine......hilariously fact!

  • @hotchsgirl2005 Nah, you're wrong. I win.

  • @MrRazorblade999 uhhh yeah, well...... everyone else knows better. :) I'm not wasting anymore of my time on some kid who likes cartoons, with him trying to tell me about acting talents in Hollywood. lol

  • @MrRazorblade999

I'm sure Michael Bay has a film you'd enjoy.

  • This guy has been my hero. Would never want to know how many hours I have spent watching movies with him in. He is what hollywood is all about.

  • i was hoping he would say " ONE IN THE PINK AND ONE IN THE STINK" directed by shane throbbs :)

  • @wilde1978 and thats why you fell for it when your parents told you "its ok to be gay".

  • @RobCardIV ummmm it is okay ; /

  • The pursuit of happyness... Great movie.

  • To Kill A Mockingbird is my favorite movie too !

  • @RichardElden WANKER!!!!

  • This belongs in a Museum!

  • My favorite, for the same reasons, is, "Amazing Grace and Chuck." Hardly known but brilliant. People doing the right thing through massive odds. In TKAMB, justice wasn't served. In mine it is.

  • Thumbs up if you had to reach to turn up the volume...

    ("mumble mumble mumble")

  • grumpy old fart, what a man

  • boring old harrison

  • ''i think it would be indiana jones and the raiders of the lost ark because thats my favorite film of this yare

  • "I think if I had to pick just one film, um, to which I had a very...strong reaction, and can remember vividly...how I felt...it would be...um....The Zookeeper."

  • wow getting old is just not good he use to be so handsome!

  • You can tell it's a really heartfelt choice for him. What if he'd chosen something really awful?

"I think if I had to pick just one film, um, to which I had a very...strong reaction, and can remember vividly...how I felt...it would be...um...Garbage Pale Kids."

Now that would have been damn funny.

  • Wait, it's not the Crystal Skull crap??

  • @Angel77777771 Camp was july 17 and i told them it was his bday on the 13 so i was singing happy birthday harrison tge whole week.

  • what is ironic is that Atticus Finch was selected best movie hero of all time by the AFI, followed by Indiana Jones...

  • Jeez, he looks like an old bum who's just crawled out of the nearest dumpster.

Missed a trick there Harrison, instead of all that pretentious psuedo intellectual bullshit, just say 'THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK - END OF' !

  • @morval99 Thanks for showing respect to a good actor. Your karma will come, in time.

  • I love harrison ford! i have had three dreams with harrison in them. at camp i told everyone how obsessed i was with him and now they know me as the girl who's obsessed with harrison ford.

  • @SoloOnTheRocks99 Yeah i'm the same way, i LOVE him and everyone says he's way too old for me... but i liked him as Indiana Jones, not so much now....

  • Wow, surprising choice by Harrison, however, a worthy choice as that film is top notch.

    Harrison Ford, Illinois' favorite son!

  • I thought he was gonna say Blade Runner... certainly one of mine!

  • his favorite movie shouldve been Raiders of the Lost Ark lol

  • To Kill A Mockingbird is AWESOME!

  • @connerspencern Yeah it is!

  • @TheSololobo Why? Because they are in Black and White?

  • I hate old movies.

  • @TheSololobo pussy

  • @jeffreybiderpdee Oh don't tell me you are one of those who like citizen kane and shit.

  • @TheSololobo HA! One of those...

    You sir are crazy

  • @TheSololobo Then why are watching to see what Harrison Ford's favorite movie is when he grew up in the 50's and 60's. In 50 years people like you are now will hate the movies you like because they're "old". HOW ARE OLD MOVIES BAD?

  • @connerspencern their dialogue is over rehearsed, they're overly dramatic, the musicals are fucking ridiculous. It wasn't until James Dean and Marlon Brandon came along that they started acting natural. Sorba the Greek is a good movie though.

  • @connerspencern A friend of mine thinks the movies i try to get him to watch are "Way to old" films like Goodfellas, Point Break, Platoon, Alien/Aliens Dirty Harry, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and he's like "Nah they're to old, I can't be bothered with them!" I give up on him. i'm like "They're in fuckin colur yeh know!!"

  • Oh dear, not the most original of answers, I bet he'd like to have Jesus, Gandhi, Marilyn Monroe, Einstein, Hitler, John Lennon, Mother Teresa and Orson Welles at his fantasy dinner party too...nought out of ten for imagination Mr Ford!

Obviously 'To Kill a Mockingbird' is a wonderful morality tale etc. but what a predictable and 'safe' choice which I suppose someone as bland as Mr Harrison would have made, I just wish he'd used his imagination before answering the question.

  • @sleepypoodle

Lol, very true, Harrison Ford always was a bit.... vanilla.

  • @sleepypoodle dude..shut up.

  • I thought for sure that he would say Bruno.

  • From only american films my 5 greatest:

    1. Citizen Kane

    2. 2001: A Space Odyssey

    3. Sunset Boulevard

    4. The Graduate

    5. The Godfather

  • Its funny, my favorite movie is Raiders of the Lost Ark.

  • great movie

    great book

  • It's so weird how much he looks like my dad :/

  • @HamGreenandEggs

    mine too

  • @HamGreenandEggs I know, my dad and him look identical

  • BLADE RUNNER!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Are you shitting me right now - i watched the film "To Kill A Mockingbird" in English class not two months ago and i didn't see him

  • @JedediahForeverMD he's talking about his favorite, not favorite he was in

  • The Shawshank Redemption does it for me.....i still remember the scene of the escape, and the payroll acceptance speech of Morgan Freeman.....in fact the last 30 mins of that movie was just a masterpiece in itself....a movie that tell you the importance of hope....is quite something.

  • I have only seen part of To Kill a Mockingbird but I did enjoy what I watched and it won three Oscars out of eight as well so thats good too.

  • Forrest gump!!!!!!!!!!

  • My Favourite : Raiders of the Lost Ark.

  • @dvlarry witness

  • my favourite - mosquito coast

  • i know this is gonna make people say " you what? you liked it??" but i did sorry folks

  • Han shot first

  • This is one person with not an ounce of phony bullshit in him. Gotta love this dude.

  • @gaozhi2007 I see you are one of the lucky few who still haven't seen Indiana Jones 4.

  • @Bluedeanie No, I saw it. But after undergoing an extensive regimen of waterboarding and grief counseling, I no longer remember it. Just like my ex-fiancee. Curse you George Lucas!

  • i like the book

    but nooooooooot the movie

  • Damn I have soooo many favorites but unfortunately To Kill a Mockingbird isn't one of them. Don't get me wrong I really liked that film its just not one of my favorites.

  • then what about blade runner

  • Mockingbird rules

  • I half hoped he would have said Drop Dead Fred

  • Fuck yeah dude, my names atticus, best movie ever!

  • It's funny how quiet and reserved Harrison Ford the man is, at least in interviews, compared to how brash and over-confident he usually appears in his movies.

  • @jamesgravil ha yeah i seen him in conan obrien and then i seen the trailer for cowboys and aliens and he seems like a different person

  • I wanted him to say Blade Runner

  • @LuksYalb i dont know why "blade runner" isnt so famous its a cult movie for godsakes. well atleast its fans are loyal to it.

  • @hispaniccheese Yeah well at least cult films don't get spoiled by shitty sequels like alot of the mainstream classics.

  • Right on. Fantastic book. All that we would deny by racism, to our debasement as moral beings.

  • @TheMattTrivium hi the matt trivium

  • Citizen Kane is my all time favorite. Great movie to pick Mr. Ford!

  • A+ choice! i like u more now!

  • Give me back my family!

  • He is the most boring interviewee.

  • bob falfa in 55 chevy.....1974..

  • Harrison Ford is the best! Wish the Holy Grail was real, have that guy around forever.

  • This video is so much better if you have the Indiana Jones theme playing in the background.

  • @TokyoAttackSquad Everything is better if you have the Indiana Jones Theme song playing in the background

  • Really! I tot U liked Daffy Duck stuff hahaha

  • ford is such an underrated actor. how did he not get an academy award nomination for the fugitive? i mean hanks is a great actor, but that year, i wouldve given it to ford

  • @inrwizards Yes he is an underrated actor, but unfortuneately there are a lot of those in Hollywood. But I actually just watch the movie Hanks one for that year, Philadelphia, and he was AMAZING! Ford was great in the Fugitive, but Hanks's oscar was well deserved, but Ford should have been at least nominated!

  • he said "its very nearly" his favourite film. so what his favourite?!! for fuck sake

  • after this video Harrison waxed his chest and told the AFI people that picking one film was like tearing down the rainforest

  • that movie is shit lol the book is pretty good though

  • I doubt there could've been a better Indy or Han Solo or any of that (Han Solo is my personal favorite).

  • man indy is getting old :( that sucks. fuck you "time".

  • @RomanSedlak Harrison can do Indy till he's 80 xD

  • @RomanSedlak Nah, he just haven't shaved and combed.

  • @RomanSedlak When Indy is getting old, Chuck Norris will be already Dead!

  • @RomanSedlak he'll always be awesome!!

  • @RomanSedlak i'd rather pay 20 bucks to see an 80 year old indiana jones than pay 10 to see any of the new garbage they spout out these days with hot young vixens and hot young studs who are supposed to be cool and who we are supposed to take seriously... all without a good story to back em up...

  • @RomanSedlak "It's not the years, honey. It's the mileage."

  • ahh, perfect camera work on this interview. the layers in light and the slight soft focus are so appropriate for HF:) its as if he radiates brilliance which he does!

  • the good, bad the ugly.... basically a b movie with much love given to it!

  • If they did a re-make, Harrison Ford would be one of my choices for Atticus! Too bad Sam Waterstone has passed on

  • Good choice, a classic!

  • he should have said the empire strikes back.

  • Comment removed

  • @qauthux lol

  • the Big Lebowski

  • @Chubachus that was jeff bridges

  • @SupernaturalLover67 thats my favorite film dumbass

  • @Chubachus why are you calling me a dumbass? yeah it's mine too, and favorite book

  • @Chubachus oh you meant the big lebowski. sorry got confused.

    okay, my bad.

  • @SupernaturalLover67 haha, yeah sry, big lebowski fans unite!

  • @Chubachus :)

  • I loved To Kill a Mockingbird too. I wonder if Gregory Peck's performance inspired Ford? They act similar.

  • My favorite movie, now, is Kick-Ass.

  • @soadpwnsyou I really do hope that is a joke

  • Cor, jhebush Chrishte, for a second before he said what the film was for some reason I just thought he might say To Kill A Mockingbird. God knows why. Maybe that I just played the theme tune to it and Gregory Peck's Oscar acceptance speech just before I clicked onto this. But man! The coincidence of me guessing the movie right, even though a split second before Ford said it I might have thought 'no maybe not'? Man, my brain explodes. It MEANS something??! Does this MEAN something?

  • @JasonPerryman well duh, it was in the related videos for Gregory Peck winning for To Kill a Mockingbird. everything is related, everyone knew lol

    haha no offense intended

  • @SupernaturalLover67 Doh!

Coincidence does not exist in the Dojo, does it??? NO SENSAI!!!

    Damn you Harrison!

  • @JasonPerryman come again?

  • my favorite harrison ford movie is probably, star wars, or the fugitive

  • To Kill a Mockingbird. Also my all time greatest movie. I can't count how many times I've watched it along with Robert Mitchum in The Night of The Hunter, Betty Davies, What ever Happened to Baby Jane, Sidney Poitier in "In the heat of The Night" Charlton Heston in Ben Hur, Kirk Douglas in The Viking ...the list is a long one. Great Movies, great actors. What legends.

  • My Favorite film : Raiders of the Lost Ark.

  • i agree 100% with him, To Kill A Mockingbird is the best film ever made. (in my opinion)

  • BRAVEHEART BITCHES

  • i think mine would be gran torino, clint east wood was amazing in that movie aspecially for someone his age

  • mine's would be 'once upon a time in the west'

  • Ah yes. The book that I had to read during the summer but instead decided to look up the plot on Wikipedia.

  • I think the top movies that impacted me as a child would be the Re-releases of the StarWars movies and Jurassic Park.

  • Star Wars

  • I agree with citizenhal. There are so many films I love to watch over and over but for different reasons. My favorites include Aladdin, Indiana Jones, Batman, Batman Returns, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Loaded Weapon, Ghostbusters, Hairspray...but are any of these the greatest film of all times? no but they are entertaining and for different reasons.

  • Harrison you do know that TKAM was book right?

  • Why are you trying to converse with a movie clip?. The book was published in 1960 and film was released in 1962. I'm pretty sure Harrison Ford knows it is (present tense) a book as well.

  • @Gorgonite7 WHOOOAAAAAT??? NO WAY!

  • good answer. To Kill A Mockingbird Is Amazing! I remember watching it in Junior High and usually movies we watched in school I would sleep through lol but that one sucked me in. I am 20 now and still love it!

  • star wars fans are freaks who need to come out of their mothers basement wathcing the same stupid movies over and over again.

ford told lucas get lost when he asked him to play solo again..

    fuck solo UP INDIANA!!!!

  • shut up

  • Star wars has an epic cult following, but it is not the greatest movie ever.

  • oh? and what do you THINK is?

  • There is no such thing as the greatest movie ever because there are so many movies and so many opinions. But The Godfather or Citizen kane are sometime considered the greatest by critics.

  • @citizenhal Personally that's what I would consider to be the "greatest."

I wouldn't call Star Wars the 'best' film ever (though it strongly serves the ultimate purpose of the majority of movies: to entertain), but just on account of how incredibly massive Star Wars and the whole franchise it spawned has become, I would call it the greatest film ever.

Of course, I wouldn't argue if somebody called The Godfather or Citizen Kane the greatest, but I believe Star Wars to be greater.

  • @godzilla19892012 That's one of the movies he CAN'T say because he was in it. That would sheer vanity.

  • To kill a mockinbird, great choice!

  • blade runner!!!!!

  • My favorite is a tie between Blade Runner and Full Metal Jacket.

  • morbidchild, it's called character.

Harry Ford is the spit of my old man <3

  • @morbidchild He's always been a very shy person, he doesn't really like interviews when he has to be himself, and as such you rarely see him promoting movies, and when he does you'll see his quirks come out like stroking the chair and speaking very low because he's very nervous.

  • You sure about that? I've heard a lot of rumors about him coking it up in the late 80's.

He became really gruff in both acting and talking in the 90's. Maybe it was just a sign of getting older? Either way, he was one of the actors that in my opinion did not have a good time when age came knocking at the door.

  • Yeah, I had an autograph signed by him, and you could tell he was really nervous just doing that.

  • Great actor, and a real down to earth guy.

  • He's a grumpy old man.

  • @4543563 not really.

  • Sweet! Thats my favorite movie of all time too. This just makes me love Ford even more.

  • i dont realy have a favorite movie

  • Ford's my favorite actor. Besides Indiana Jones and Star Wars, my favorite movie is The Fugitive

  • It would be so cool, if that were your favourite movie, to see the character you played(Indy) be ranked second only to the hero of that film(Atticus) on the AFI 100 Greatest Movie Heroes list.

  • ford hates star wars. he knows all the fans are freaks and weirdos.

just look up the fan sites on youtube. they should be all locked up and the key thrown away.

  • Hey fuck off buddy!

  • But the old movies are entertaining :o

  • Amen.

However Sir Alec Guiness had a great way to deal with them. Even though Alex Guiness was an Oscar winning actor who appeared in plenty of classics the Star Wars fans didn't watch those at all, to them he was just Obi-Wan. So when Alec Guiness met a Star Wars fan he asked the fan if he could promise him something and the fan said:"I'll promise Obi-Wan anything.". He then said:"Promise me you want see Star Wars ever again."

    Simply great.

  • LOL
