  • I love the L&N Berk and the Allegheny is fantastic. The layout is probably the best

  • You Are Pretty Lucky For Such A Layout!

  • Is this MTH premier?

  • happy holidays from canada

    love the train action..nice

    layout..keep us posted..

    cheers..steve:

  • dude, is this all in your house or is this like a garage? thats a bunch of trains! but hey! you can never have enough trains eh! lol

  • Post more videos of this layout with the same trains but with a ride on the C&O allegheny.

  • Hey hey hey hey HEY!! He is NOT and clearly NOT a moron!! >:(

  • Moron.

  • I just got DCS for my birthday.

  • How many chuffs per revolution?

  • I think it is set at four per rev. I set my Allegheny at 6 since it is a Mallet.

  • Looks to me like 3 chuffs. With my DCS I did 16 chuffs per revolution

  • I have used the DCS in for MTH at my friend's house. also I have a MTH railking 4-6-4 wabash hudson steam engine that Has PS 1 so I can use the lionel transformer with the PS 1 engine because the DCS doesn't work with the PS 1 engines. And one more thing I have the same crossing signals as you but not the one with the gates.

  • You can run PS 1 with a DCS and a Z4000 transformer.

  • I didn't know that. When I get my DCS I will try it with the wabash cannonball.

  • I just learned that with the DCS DVD.

  • The trains on this layout I know are MTH

  • Your video is great and I've rated it as awesome. Please check out mine on some 1920's railway centenary tobacco cards and a short clip of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch miniature railway.

  • I hope to have an all passenger train video tour sometime this spring. I got some updated PS 2 announcements

  • Opps Nevermind! Those are Ross. The rest of the switches are Atlas. Just the cross overs are RCS.

    Wonderful Layout!

  • I notice you have a couple Atlas double cross-overs. How are those working for you?

  • They are Ross double crossovers and for now the diamonds are dead because each line is on a different TIU channel . I have to speed through. There is a remote alternating polarity feature but I am not sure it is right for DCS controlled layouts

  • Better every time We watch! Great job!!

  • Hugely enjoyable! Can we ask what equipment you used to video this? And a niggly one, I thought US railroads ran on the right (like your roads)? Am I wrong here? Jim

  • I used a Canon SD600 still/video camera which has about a 10 minute capacity for a video in the chip of 2 GB.I placed it on a flat car at a slight skew. True all but one U.S. Railroad were designed for right hand running, Computerized Directional traffic is largely ignored now in this country.

  • Thanks, that's really interesting - so double track US railroads are essentially 2 bidirectional now? We haven't got as far as that in the UK.

  • Actually Jim we have a lot of bi-directional single track with long sidings, some overlaping. Get yourself some copies of the American based Kalmbach Publication "Trains" and you'll get some idea of what is going on here in North America. Does the UK have any computer controlled traffic?

  • Yes, as does most of Europe, a lot of Australia, and even the Asians.

Do a google search for ERTMS.
