The thing about Kimi is that he is one of the fastest learners out there on the F1 grid which is why he will be right up there on the podium after a few races.
Once he has learned how all the fundamental rule changes feel, we will see if he is good enough to win. I believe he will be.
l admire his "who gives a f#%&" attitude. People that are not in the industry have no idea what its to deal with a camera in your face 24/7. l like him because he tells it how it is. No BS. GIVE EM HEAPS KIMI!
Thats not really all that matters, he should have respect for himself, especially the opportunity he has been given to race f1 again. If anything i lost respect for him when he fucked around, i will be cheering for him this season but what ever he does off the track will effect the way his fans perceive him, he just looks like a spoilt little kid.
@mwaggy2011 spoilt??? he just a human being off track.....as long as he dont bring in his personal issue into on track action thats fine with me...~~!! Unlike hamilton though....
@kamikazeman so what, he's a good driver, thats all that matters. When he crashed in monaco and immediatly walked back to his yacht, got drunk as fack and fell off it i had more respect for him. He doesnt care about people, he cares about results.
@jdmpurest thats what make him so different from the rest, the man fell asleep before his first gp, now thats cool. when he wins or looses he parties, and that is what it is about, not sucking up and keeping noise like the rest or showing off in front of a tv camera
@spitfire1936 Cause rally is not straightforward at all! There are different surfaces which make it much tougher &more variable with regards to driving style. It takes an entire different technique 2drive a rally car through thick mud with hairpin like corners-it takes time to learn this. In addition driving to pace notes is what gives you the edge and that requires time2! Kimi was actually as fast as the top guys in the tests (backed up by Hirvonen)- a year or two more &he would've been close!
I am excited for his return. He has so much natural talent. If only he put in a little more effort to compliment his abilities. Hopefully the time away has made him hungry. He was unlucky at McLaren and deserved a Championship in 2003 maybe more so in 2005.
yeah..he's missing racing against people..racing wheel to wheel with others..doing nascar has triggered it more.that's the reason he's comeback to f1..he don't get it in rally cause its against clock.
he's getting on the throttle very early ........ i hope he is competitive this year

Wondering what Kimi's got in mind about Red Bull, Ferrari & McLaren and maybe Mercedes?
Of course he know what happened last year in F1. Hope the Lotus can make a big progress.
At the beginning of 2011, they was great. But in middle of the season until the last race they struggle.
Hope that will not happen this year.

@Awesome21ish Because the crotch strap on the seat belt can mash your nuts if you don't get the extra cloth out of the way.

Raikkonen is an asshole, he doesn't respect journalist, photographers, children and the team mechanics. To me he doesn't deserve a good life

@kamikazeman He's a driver, not propagandist, model, daycare host, or engineer - so who cares? At least he hasn't decked a marshall like James Hunt.

Why is it the WRC rally drivers test drive F1 cars so much better then F1 drivers who test WRC cars?
