not only is the battery swappable but the networks are to.. not stuck with a contract for two dam years just for a mainstream iphone. 5megapix cam and front facing web cam. and with more memory then iphone. built in skype and gooogle talk.

How long N900s battery lasts:

6-7 hours of super-multi-ultra-use. That means playing music, using GPS and surfing in Wifi at the same time and the whole time. And this estimate was achieved with an older firmware.

With normal use there is no way the battery could be fully drained in one day. The new firmware is confirmed to consume less battery without affecting the actual use. The final firmware is yet to be seen...

And you can switch the battery easily, unlike in many other (i)Phones.

Thanks God, the battery is swappable, so if there is need for more "life" you can always bring another battery with you, or buy bigger one.

anybody know something about the battery life? i heard that nokia WANTS it to support a full day of internet browsing, messaging etc.

so with 'normal' use u might get 2 or 3 days if ur doing okay.

with makes it almost a laptop.

The battery is 'only' 1350mAh, so we'll see if that's enough for this powerful device. To bad they didn't put a 1500mAh in the N900..
