I love the idea that the ents are sort of lead by a female choir. It always reminds me of the nymphs wich, in ancient Rome, lived inside every tree. So it´s this transition of history to film which gives Middle Earth such a strong sense of realism!

The Ents are wise and strong; they follow the law of the nature that is bound with every thing in Middle-Earth( that symbolizes the Earth). Their March against evil that leads everything to destruction is full of sorrow and power that never fails.

Tolkien did a great job echoing this moral in his work: courage and righteousness. THIS is what people should learn through literature!
