  • Very interesting sound. I was wondering, is that a Bodhran sitting to your right? How would they sound when played together?

  • Heavenly music

  • sorry but this sounds like music for a horror movie!

  • @TheTrackformer this music is divinity, if you can't appreciate it then go listen to Miley fucking Cyrus and shut the hell up

  • @r3dfl4ck4l1

no thats not my taste of music. im going to listen some oud taqsims now. thank you!

  • Thank you for sharing this heart felt music.

  • یا هو .عاشقشونم

  • Those fools who think driving car is forbidden for women in Islam... also believe Music is forbiddedn.

This is what you expect when illiterate bedouins become the custodian of Holy Mosques.

The universe exists because of rhythm, the creation itself is music.

The mysterious death (by fire) of khalil Alinejad is a great loss for the Human civilization.

This musical instrument is called the tanbur in Iran. (In Turkey it is called the saz, and those in the Balkans have other names for it.

  • It's a Turkish instrument. No doubt

  • @Gokbori1

The Tanbour Originated from the Sassanid Empire (Iranian) which later influenced the Turks, they made it to a different version. So no, it's not Turkish

  • turkish qanun

  • music is haram in islam.

That is why khalil was murdered in Stockholm

  • EPIC

  • Derived from the turkish religion of shamanism???

    XD XD

Look at this turkish-internet-noops, haha i am laughing my ass of.

Shamanis is a term that refers to natural-religions, meaning that the old religions of the native american people is also called shamanism... does this make them turks too??... So the Maya and Inka where turks, too?? XD

Tanbur is an Instrument used by iranian Kurds, end of the story. (Khorasan Kurds and Turkemen user the Dotar not the Tanbur.

  • ya ali medet . allah rahmet etsin . mekani cennet olsun .

  • Hu Awalo Akher Yar! God bless his soul

  • I dont know what he is singin but ima assume it is some religouse bull shit. But besides that i love it. Its such a nice instrument and he is good...i could get into this music.

  • @blackMetaljunky

his lyrics were recitings of poems from baba taher

    en(dot)wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Baba_Taher

was an 11th century Kurdish poet and mystic.

this dood that is playing got assassinated by some radical group in europe or something. and yea i see you're a blackmetaljunkie so yea don't be knockin the ancient arabs and mystics, cuz Abdul Azared who wrote your beloved necronomicon in HP lovecraft's stories was the "mad arab".

  • @blackMetaljunky "religouse bullshit"? Learn to write your own language before you start talking about religious "bullshit".

I never cease to be amazed when I watch this video.

  • This style string instruments are pure turkish origin instruments. Its coming orginally from the old relegion of turkic peoples 'the shamanism'. The sufism is born with this relegion and mixing with islam. This is a fact!! But most of the turks are today sunni muslim. Only most of the turks in Iran are Shii and Qizilbash muslim. Check also the leaders of old Iran. Nader Shah, Shah Ismail, Mahmoud of Gazne they have all a turkish origin. All the people of middle-east are brothers!

  • #jwanadeelan123. The turkish baglama is total diffrent with tanbour. This instrument is orginally from Qizilbash people, Qizilbash people are today living in Turkey and Iran and this relegion is orginally from The Qizilbash Turkmens. Qizilbash means redheads in the turkish language. Don't forget that 50%^of Iran have a turkish origin, like azeris, afshars, turkmens, qashqais and kurds from khorasan with turkmen origin.

  • @multik5001 thats right but kurds are a iranian tribe.

but with the other tribes i agree with you

  • dast xosh u har beji

  • Islamic goverment of Iran killed this artist in sweden.

  • It is an absolute lie. Seyed was of Gonabadi Namatullahi Order and some of his lyric about Imam Ali were considered to be Quluve (exaggeration ) and was killed by Sunni Extremist.

  • what do they kill musicians for?

  • iyisin hocam. Sanırım iranlısın ???

  • arif sağ, musa eroğlu watch tehir videos to see other bağlama songs, and this instrument is mainly used is turkish culture.

  • emperor84: This instrument is predecessor to ANY string instrument and estimated around 7000 years old, well before the arrival of the Turkic people from East Asia. You are correct in Modern Turkey this has been taken as the national instrument, although with a different configuration called "Baghlaamaan"! Tanbur is the spiritual instrument of the people known collectively as "Medes" i.e. Western Iranic people which are Kurds and Lurs.

  • Sir.this is absolutely KURDISH instrument and is different from turkish baglama.

the fretting of this does not support turkish melodies and rhythms and harmony.

thiis caled TEESFOONI TANBOOR and is being played by dervish es from KERMANSHAH and SAHNEH two cities in the north west of IRAN.these dervishes are not nematollahi

they are AHLEH HAGH اهل حق

  • There is not Turkish instrument like this one, as Turkic tribes originated from Mangolia. The instruments you are refering to are of Kurdish origin adopted by Turkic tribes who invaded and settled in Anatolia. This instrument is sacred to Kurds who adhere to isoteric sects of Islam. Northern Kurdistanis (Kurds in Anatolia) play the same instrument which Turkic tribes adopted and renmaed as Baglama. Her Bijit

This version is mainly used the (mainly Kurdish) north-western parts of Iran, though variants can be found all across the middle east, Caucasus Mountains as well as Central Asia.
