  • yeah, ok , right , im so sure ur totally right !!!! but thank u so much for ur concern as well ..

  • Well this Muscogee Creek Indian disagrees! It sounds good to me and they put great effort into singing it for people to hear. This song can be sang in Creek and english so I dont think that would matter.

  • heritage

  • christ isnt supposed to be kept a secret

  • dude i agree wit u, tribal singing r supposed to b kept scared.

  • im so disappointed in this CREEK INDIAN SONG, im one of the CREEK indians&i cnt beleve they would even post this, it's so not good&for us does no justice on how it really is suppose to sound, & this is not the way it is suppose to sound, just saying from a REAL CREEK INDIAN, PEACE...

  • @theladydee0829 This is a hymn meant to praise God, not to please you. I'm sure that these people are more concerned with praising the Lord than making you happy. And I'm sure He is more than happy with the quality.

Mathew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

1 Chronicles 16:8 Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.9 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

  • These are my people. Stand bold. An stead fast.... Native Pride... I'm proud of where i from....

  • What kind of mission trip did you go on?

  • ho wa

  • CEEEEEEEEEEK TRIBE!!!!!!!! NATIVE PRIDE!!!

  • Did you get permisson to video tape? and do they know it is on youtube. If not, they may not appreciate you posting this.

  • @wuliechsin I sure hope this is not an issue. This particular hymn exists in sheet music, including some american christian hymnals. Although my suspicion is these are elders and not tribal singers (somewhat akin to having the congregation singing instead of the church choir), this video represents a very important documentation of the actual hymn as the Creeks would understand it. There are very, very few people alive who retain knowledge of this dying art.

  • i am so very proud of all native american people, and respect their beliefs.they truly are a great people.i have records showing my cherokee heritage all the way back to 1789,and it makes me so proud! they ARE truly the REAL AMERICANS!

  • Tipster for "Asazul26--If you are still searching for the words to this song, go to "mywebsearch" type in " muscogee creek hymns and scroll down to the title "Heleluyvn Yvhikvres" and click on it and the song is written in creek and it is also translated in english so you know what the song means..you can also go to 'MUSCOGEE CREEK NATION" and somewhere on their website the Creek alphabets and words are recorded where you can actually hear the words to learn them. Good Luck to you!!!

  • Any of you Muscogees out there have the words? I'm trying to learn. Micco sappo was all I got. I think. I need help. Plz help if you know, it would be much appreciated. This is a beautiful song. Mvto.

  • they are saying heleluyah at first then they are saing

mikosapulke= christian people this mayman this means there so what they are saying is that the christian people went there (heaven)

We all know that Heleluyah means highest praise. so they are saying highest praise to God because christians have made it to heaven.

later you will hear powandagee (sisters in Christ) they say the same about them.

  • I messed up in writing this. when they say maymana they are saying they went there to heaven.

    Micosapulke means christian people.

after the term maymana you will here the word pulke this means the people referring back to the Christian people.
