  • Which curling iron do you use?

  • usually I love your videos, but my hair won't let me do this! It might be the curling iron, but I don't understand how to curl it? Everytime I try to do it, it just ends up pulling out hair. I was very disappointed with how this turned out. Try to make it so that everyone can do it.

    Thanks.

  • You are very, very good, but why aren't you making more videos, they are fantastic.?

  • I love the makeup! Could you do a tutorial? :)

  • I'm interested in getting a curling iron. I have a 1" and I am looking for something larger for fuller curls and waves. What size would you recommend that would be the most versatile?

  • I really love the makeup is this video, could you do a tutorial?

  • Demi Lovato hair tutorial

  • @beebasstard curls last longer if you start with a messier hair texture, so after washing your hair put some curl/volume boosting mousse onto damp hair & blow dry with a diffuser or rough dry with your hands. Then once you've curled your hair and pinned them all up spray some hairspray all over your head & leave for aslong as possible to set. That should help the curls last alot longer :)

  • @hajiforever 1) you're rude - 'are you deaf?' seriously? Have you ever heard of manners? 2) obviously you're not great at paying attention yourself because the girl wrote her hair goes 'straight again' - emphasis on the word AGAIN - therefor your tip for thick curly hair is totally useless. Here's some advice, next time you're feeling in a helpful mood, don't bother!

  • you look like bridgit mendler

  • @KarlaCervantes89 NO not even! Check out beautybaby44! She looks like bridgit mendler(:

  • what kind of curling iron do you have?

  • @yennybennybe it should work fine as long as u leave ur bangs out of the curls:D

  • @ilovemichaelbublex if u use a wide tooth comb or ur fingers the curls wont go frizzy:)

  • You look like Bridget Mendler from Good Luck Charlie

  • How do you keep your hair so healthy with as much heat as you use?

  • WoW is there a way to make the same tutorial but with flat iron ?

    Thanks, :)

  • When I use bobby pins, they always get ruined and never stay in place. Can you do a video on some general tips about bobby pins? Because I really can't work with them.

  • Amazing, i absolutely adore your videos!!!

  • i suck at doing hair and i actually could do this thanks to your help...love your channel!

  • I loooove this look, I just wish I had longer hair, mine always looks weird when I curl it

  • @SuperBlondie108 haha yeah same, especially because my hair is layered, so it always looks quite short, and REALLY thick at the top, and thin at the bottom. ah well, just have to grow my hair!

  • wait so we can do this look with rollers, like all wet hair then roll it up and let the curls in place until its dry???

  • @Sakari07 yeah, that should work, just you have to wait quite a long time (depending on your hair thickness) for your hair to dry.

  • Thank you for showing how you use your curling iron! I watch you do it and whenever I would try it would be a fail. So thanks!! :)

  • I did this, but instead of curling and pinning starting from the bottom of my head, I started at the top! I found that this was a lot easier for me :D

  • Could you please show curls using a very small curling iron or a curling wand? :D

  • you are very talented!

  • OMG! This is fantastic! I'm Colombian! and I really love your channel!

    Thanks for the styles!

  • @cupcakes0530 u could just try the worst thing that can happen is that it doesnt look good right?

  • how do u get ur hair so shiny? :O

  • I don't understand your curling technique :((((

  • I had someone do my hair like that - it took one hour because i have so much hair. I don't want to know how LONG it will take if I did it myself :(

  • i love your makeup in this look :)

  • Wow, thats's so awesome. I want to try it, but my hear is always static :c

  • You look great!The hair,the make up...all look amazing;)Happy new year;)

  • i love this tutorial! great video thank you!!!!!

  • I like the soft waves. It's totally old Hollywood! ;)

  • I like it how you mixed math in how to curl you hair in a Hollywood style.

  • I might do this tomorrow! Thanks Kaylee!

  • You look just like Lana Del Rey in video "Born to die"

  • @bluestarsworld Run a dryer sheet through your hair after you brush it. It reduces the static so much!

  • For Frizz/Static: First, use a comb, not a brush for curls. Second, a little (LITTLE) hair serum will reduce static, also just a simple dryer sheet rubbed on your hair can reduce static.

For Layers: Section your hair in layers, and curl the layers in sections. That way, you are working with groups of hair that are the same length. This will reduce the likelihood of shorter hair falling out of your styling tool.

Best way to find out if this style work for your hair type/length is it try it!

  • This is so pretty!

  • But how to set the curls/waves for a long time?

I mean, whenever I go to a party, I curl my hair and, one hour later it's straight again. This stresses any girl, I take more than an hour to make it and within 40 minutes it's ruined!

  • @beebasstard i cmpltly agree....its frstrtng :@

  • @beebasstard pin the curls in their place after you take your hair out of the iron, and leave it til your hair is cold. and use hairspray as you curl.

  • @beebasstard Are you deaf? She said that once you curl it you wrap it around your fingers and secure it to your head to hold the curls longer. but truly the easiest way to hold your curls is to seperate your hair into two parts, twist your hair when its wet and then depending on how much hair you have, let it dry and then brush it out in the morning and they are amazing waves. at least it works wonders for my thick long naturally curly hair.

  • very beautiful...i love old time hollywood...just so beautiful...great work on this...looked flawless...if i try it it will look nothing like this...haha. ;)

  • shes sooo pretty. i frickin love her, and have used about 90% of all her hair styles and i will defin itly be doin this one

  • Does this work on shoulder length hair? HELP! ASAP

  • i've got really layered hair, so when i curl like that random strands fall out. :/ any suggestions?

  • if i brush my curls they go frizzy:(

  • My hair is thin and a little past my shoulders. I have extensions, but they are clip in, so if i use this kind of curling iron, they come out. Please help!!!

  • I use the same curling iron and heat protectant :)

  • ahh so gorgeous! i love this look thank you for the video! gonna try it soon

  • I love how detailed your tutorials are. But they are still easy to follow. Loved it!

  • My hair always gets static when I brush them, any advice?

  • @bluestarsworld you can run a dryer sheet through your brush before use! no joke haha

  • @bluestarsworld maybe you should try straightening your hair before curling it!that's what i do!takes a lot of time, but it works for me!:)))

  • @bluestarsworld you can try a wood comb, wood is not a very good eletricity conducter!

  • @bluestarsworld Spray hairspray first and then let your hair cool and don't brush your hair with a brush use a wide tooth comb.

  • @bluestarsworld i have the same problem and so i was told to buy a comb and its worked great epecial since i have natural wavy hair i find since i have done that the waves are much more mangable. you can buy them for under$6 and they are all the same so it doesnt matter about brand or anything hope this helps

  • @bluestarsworld It could be the brush you're using. Nylon bristles seem to be a culprit, static like crazy. Also the low humidity in the air because of winter also contributes to static in the hair when you brush it. Brushes with natural bristles, like a boar's hair bristle brush, don't create static. Only deal with that is the unlikelihood of finding one that has bristles as wide apart as a nylon bristle brush. Also, a leave in conditioner might help. Haven't tried that myself.

  • @bluestarsworld are you using the same kind of brush she is using (the skinny ones you back comb hair with) or the big paddle brushes. i think fatter brushes will make it static-y

  • @bluestarsworld run a dryer sheet all over your hair... not through your hair, over it... itll take out the static :)

  • @bluestarsworld Mist hair brush with water. Moistening the bristles can help get rid of unwanted static electricity.

Spritz brush bristles with hair spray. Used in moderation, hair spray applications to both your hair and brush can help eliminate static electricity.

Rub hair brush with a static dryer sheet. Keep your hair brush static-free and smelling as fresh as linens by giving it a once-over with any static dryer sheet brand

  • @JanelleLovable Thank you so much. I'll try it

  • I never use heated tools on my hair, so if I use it once do I need heat protection? Or would it be okay to skip for one time? :D

  • Would you suggest any different sectioning for thicker hair? also when you wrap your girls do you follow the curl pattern or just wrap around the two fingers just randomly?. really need to know the answers to these.. xo

  • Great job!(:

  • I love this hairstyle .. gonna have to give it a go :)

  • just in time! a friend of mine is using me as a model for her senior project! for her senior project shes doing photography and her theme right now is...you guessed it! "old hollywood" !!! thanks a ton!

  • absolutely beautiful! Thank u so much for sharing this amazing look with us, the best i've seen lately!!

  • please do curls with a flat iron.. please

  • @lulimoody YEAH! plz show us how to do that!

  • *me forever *yours

  • How long did this take you. It always takes meforever to curl my hair but it looks the same thickness as yoirs

  • What if I have naturally curly hair? Should I brush it out and then try this?

  • @curlydays14 i would i have naturally curly hair too and if i want to curl it i brush it out.

  • I've been trying to curl my hair this way for a while now, but it isn't working for me. Could it be that my hair is to long (My hair comes to about the place where my back ends) I have no problems curling the upper half of my hair this way.

    Thanks,

    Josette

  • @Josette1807 Is it really thin?

  • Comment removed

  • You kinda look like Bridget mendler

  • I've got a question, before using the iron does my hair need to be straightened up with a straightener or i could start with just my normal hair ?

  • this is fabulous!

  • You look like those glamurous ladies from de 60's. I loved it!

  • That hair style looks realt beautiful I love it !

  • this is one of my favorites from you;)

  • Does the heat protecting oil your hair? :-))

  • I've been watching your tutorials for a while now, and I must say they've improved SO much, they are very professional now!:)

  • i love this BUT it would have looked so much pretty if you curled the hair in the same direction. one side is curled in and the other is curled out!

  • @bellamariethatsme that's part of the "old hollywood" look, that's actually how they curled their hair!
