  • Kinda sounds like the pokemon center song. Of coarse you said it was made by Game Freak(The very same people who made the pokemon main series games.)

  • This game is my new drug.

  • This has been anounced for 3DS Ambassador virtual console program only it's the supperior, full color and full resolution NES versuon. YAYYYY!!!

  • so its like tetris?????

  • @Lugialover10000 - Not quite.

  • @CrashManEXE so wat is it DX

  • @Lugialover10000 - A game where you stack up blocks. Can't really describe it well.

  • its os old i dont really get it though

  • my record is 42 yoshi eggs

  • Music C reminds me of pokemon.

  • oh OLD GAMES :)

  • *nostalgic

And I believe this was the last GB game I ever owned.

  • I love Yoshi! I wish it hadn't faded into obscurity. It's such a fun game.

  • I still have this game cartridge!

    Thanks for posting this up!

  • i've done it in color!!!

  • i'll try to make a color version like in the gameboy color

  • How can you "make" a colour version of it?

  • using the gameboy colors just like in a real handheld gameboy color

  • Oh right. I was wondering how you can splash colour into a Gameboy game on VisualBoyAdvance but I couldn't find an option on that.

  • I think that Pokemon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow used the same sound engine as this (except that Yellow went a bit more advanced and added in voice clips.)

  • As simple as it looks, it looks fun and challenging. Nice, indeed a radical game.

  • Listening at the music you chose, it's easy to see how the composer of this game was also involved with pokémon!

This is a nice puzzle game nonetheless!

  • I've always chosen that music when I played that game. I felt it was better than the other two :)

  • Music Type C reminds me of Pokemon Center. Very interesting. :)

  • True!

    I liked Type B thebest!

  • Music B is rather depressing... to me that is.

  • Wow, this game looks really fun. Simple, but fun. The Pokemon-style music helps it too.

  • This game was released in 1991.

Game Freak was also working on Pulseman, which was released only in Japan in 1994.

Pulseman was released on the Virtual Console recently.

  • I should get Pulseman; there's a lot of stuff influenced into Pokemon

  • THAT'S WHY! The music sounds just like Pokemon, especially the star theme... it's just like the Pokemon center.

  • that looks fun :D

  • Ah yeah... I remember playing this game. Simple gameplay, yet addicting. I still have the cartridge.

  • Also take a look at the goombas, you say game freak had something to do with this, the goombas have the professor oak face.

  • They do? I didn't even realise that D:

  • I had this as on of my first GB games

  • I have this game on my Famicom. Good game! It gets pretty hard, though... still, gotta love that old-school challenge!

  • This game is also for the NES? I never knew that.

  • Yeah it's awesome, It's on the american virtual console for the wii, It's just called Yoshi in the US. But the game that rules is Yoshi's Cookie for the SNES

  • I played the NES version of that. It was nice also though I had to figure out how to play it :P
