the tg01 could be much better if they drop this crap windows mobile. Even with this touch gui, its crap under the cover. Toshiba shoud consider this type of smartphone with Android. It would rock with this horsepower.

i never liked the fact that apple forces itunes etc., but thanks to iphone the opponents woke up finally: omnia, xperia, arena, tg01, sharp wilcom, xpphone. It was logical evolutionary process, that umpc meets smartphone/pda, but the companies waited for enough clients. i was waiting for such smartphones, umpc, netbooks since 4 years. Now rally started :)

umpc-handys should have minimum 4" touch-display!

I am still looking for a WM, which is fold able like imate Jasjar, thin and fast like this Toshiba, and have an interface like touch flo 3d. I think it may never happen. As a WM user for a long time, I should say that I am not satisfied with any of the handsets available now or in near future. Wish someday my dream become true.

Agreed, the U I is too gimmicky and not very practical. I'll most likely turn it off and put TF3D on there instead. However with the power this thing has, I wouldn't dought that this will open up a whole new development portal for windows mobile.

i think he meant smaller as in screen wise (i believe this is 4.1 inches??) my only issue with this phone in the WinMo 6.1 and the accompanying skin. other than that, I wouldn't mind dropping my iphone to test this sucker out
