I think you're right. That high note in Nessum Dorma...he was pushing it somewhat. He's brilliant...and probably should stay a baritone, if for no other reason than to NOT ruin his voice by pushing it too much. He's magic...I ordered his CD from Austrailia...can't wait to get it.
And even that was transposed down 1 or 1 1/2 steps from the original. Wait another 10 or 20 years. Opera singers don't usually mature until well into their 30's.

No 15 year old kid should be singing operatic rep like that at that young an age. Just listen to how he artificially darkens his voice to "sound" like an opera singer and not himself.

What a perfect song he selected to sing on his grandfather's birthday... He is young; he is handsome and has a great voice that can only get better with time...He is claiming his stardom. No doubt about it.

That he is only 15 makes this guy quite exceptional. An absolute delight to listen to and his stage presence is superb. He MUST become not only an international recording star but should also have a world tour.

Hmm, cut him some slack. 15, after all! But yes, his rendition of this does contain some close mimic elements of Anthony Warlow (who he has said he loves - not a bad, thing, of course!).

I read in an online Australian newspape that he's already signed a Sony recording contract. If so, I can't wait for the first CD to come out. I'll buy every recording Mark Vincent ever makes.
