  • PEOPLE, LET'S HAVE A MOMENT OF PRAYER FOR A COUPLE OF MY BRAIN CELLS. THEY DIED A FEW MINUTES AGO.

I WAS BRUSHING MY TEETH. (ya rly, brain cells die from head-shaking. zygotes are no different until they develop into embryos with nervous systems)

  • She soooo stupid!

  • Katie Couric is amazing.

  • These are the people you are electing into office! What is wrong with america? Unwanted pregnancies are a huge burden. There must be preventative measures in place to help girls who are in bad situations.

  • @DaBluedude100 LOL... dude, America as a whole didn't put her in office, so don't worry, it was just a a few Alaskans, the state of Alaska has great parks and wildlife and she is wrecking many protections, but thankfully there is a limit on term in office. She will never see a position above where she is now, she is too fucking dumb, ther aren't enough right wing nut jobs to get this dumb bitch in the presidency.

  • dumb

  • How on earth does a single cell suffer more than an animal being slaughtered. Is it murder for me to kill one of my skin cells? No? Why not? What is the difference between a skin cell and a zygote? The fact it has half the DNA of its parents? So what?

Somehow this zygote, which is just a simple cell, should have more right to exist than a fully developed animal. Think about it - a zygote has no personality, no knowledge, nothing. It is just the result of two combined gamete cells.

  • @SeanACampbell VERY well said.

  • @SeanACampbell And it gets even more insane when maniacs who bomb women's clinics think they are doing the right thing by killing and maiming, and call themselves pro-life

  • @Trund27 What a fucking disgrace lol.

  • @SeanACampbell Pretty much my thoughts exactly

  • @SeanACampbell see, the problem is that Sarah Palin probably does not know how to spell Zygote.

  • she really tries hard to side step questions doesn't she?

  • If life starts at conception, when did death end for her brain?

  • if she didn't know she just contradicted herself.

  • I swear the morning after pill can be classed as abortion because although sometimes It stops the egg implanting, there is also a chance (if taken later) that it flushes out the fertilized egg? So in other words, if you believe in life begging at conception, thats murder?

  • God I hate katie couric, shut the fuck up and let her give her dumb answers katie, quit trying to be a "hard hitting journalist". Don't get me wrong Palin is a moron.

  • what's morning after pill?

  • @Trebor0930 It's a pill a woman takes within 72 hours of having unprotected sex to reduce the chances of her getting pregnant.

  • @itskirstybetchx k thanks

  • @Trebor0930 if a condom breaks or something, you can take it within 48 hours after sex, it's like birth control pills, but with higher hormone dosage, and it prevents the sperm from meeting the egg, so it's preventative, unlike how palin described it to be like an abortion pill or something...-__-

  • 'i would not choose to participate in that kind of contraception'. she is an idiot. her grammar is just unbelievable. half the stuff she comes out with is just a bunch of shit.

  • PALIN 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • FUCK ALL DEMOCRATS !!!!

I agree with Republicans that "pre-marital sex" should be criminalized !!! I getting SICK and TIRED of seeing shows like ``Fiends and Seinfeld`` glorigy one-night stands.

To ALL parents out there: talk to your teens about the dangers of sex, boycott shows that promote promiscuity AND PLEASE vote Republican... the heart and sould of our country is at stake!

  • @MrSuperneocon Republicans being right about one issue doesnt make them vote worthy.

  • @MrSuperneocon I am going to go sleep with my girlfriend now that you've said that

  • Comment removed

  • @MrSuperneocon Crappy punctuation and capital letters doesn't strengthen your argument. And not all republicans are against pre marital sex. That's generalizing.

also... i think you meant glorify.

  • @MrSuperneocon I wasn't aware that all republicans were for criminalizing pre-marital sex. Vote whichever way you want, but at least learn actual issues first. If you believe pre-marital sex is a sin, then fine. But don't vote for an entire party because you believe every single politician will have the same beliefs as you. That is ignorance at its highest.

  • @MrSuperneocon What two people do in there bedroom is none of your' buisness or the U.S governments.

  • life ends the moment u swallow palin

  • this doesnt even make sense! The morning after pill isnt an abortion pill! Nothing is conceived before you take the morning after pill

  • this lady is retarded, I'm sorry but its true.

  • @ozandcar yes but she was a candidate for the democrats that shows that many many Americans have no brain

  • @ADOPTmeBITCH I think you mean Republicans.....

  • *Cough* Figurehead *cough*

  • If Palin wanted to abolish the IRS and Federal Reserve and all the useless federal departments/wars, I would be willing to put all of this other bullshit aside and half-heartedly support her

  • @BikiniBabe1985 Why not support Ron Paul? Infinitely more intelligent than Palin.

  • This pisses me off, not because she's against abortion, but because she clearly has no clue (like many people) how the morning after pill works. It is not an abortion pill. It will not abort anything that has already been conceived. It stops you from ovulating so that you don't get pregnant if you haven't already, which is also why it is so unreliable because some of the time, the girl is already pregnant by the time she takes the pill.

  • @oneeyedgoat41 i am a doctor and the drug of choice for emergency contraception is levonorgesterol. It will prevent the implantation of the fertilized egg into the wall of the uterus. it may also prevent ovulation. but it can abort something that has been fertilized.

  • I'm surprised she said she's for contraception at the beginning of this interview. I thought Christians were supposed to oppose all birth control methods, including condoms.

  • she wouldnt participate in that kind of contraception, lol

  • she didnt said anything

  • @TheArzael Don't worry that is just you having an inability to listen. At the end she states she would not choose that type of contraception. Of course you probably don't know what that means anyhow.

  • She has difficult to give a straight answer about what she thinks about day after pill!!!

  • I say maybe people should use other methods of birthcontrol. any pills have dangers to them. why would I want to put another health at risk when there's a safer way to do things? I do my part and my partners do their part everyone is happy right?

  • The morning after pill doesn't stop conception. Conception doesn't happen until a fertilized egg implants into the uterus. The morning after pill just lowers the chance of the egg implanting. Palin fails at science yet again.

  • @scizophrenicpanda

What Palin fails to understand is that Plan B contains levonorgestrel, a progestin used in many prescription birth control pills (which are usually combined w/ estrogen in 'combined pills'). The only differences between Plan B and regular contraception is the dosage of progestin and absence of estrogen in Plan B.

Congratulations Palin, you just got schooled by someone less than half your age.

  • @kristy116 No she didn't because she doesn't read youtube comments from little kids who have no idea what their talking about. Congratulations you got schooled by one of your many superiors.

  • @sh4rpsh0t33

In essense she was schooled, and that kid does know what he/she is talking about. That kid's also 20 some odd, Palin's in her 40's. And it's they're not their. Unless of course you meant the verb talking was actually a noun desribing an object that person owns. Which means your entire sentence is gyberish.

  • @JamesThWilliams Nah he/she doesn't know jack just like you. Don't be worried though you are not alone. You guys can all have alternative view of reality, just go sit in the corner while the adults do the real work. If grammar corrections is the best you got then you better give up now.

  • @scizophrenicpanda She never stated that her issue with the morning after pill had to do with conception. She simply stated a human life begins at conception.

  • @scizophrenicpanda

well actually conception happens in the fallopian tubes..

  • @scizophrenicpanda Definition of CONCEPTION 1a (1) : the process of becoming pregnant involving fertilization or implantation or both (2). Palin was right on with her science.

The morning after pill works in three ways. 1.The normal menstrual cycle is altered, delaying ovulation; or

2.Ovulation is inhibited, meaning the egg will not be released from the ovary; 3.It can irritate the lining of the uterus (endometrium) so as to inhibit implantation.

    Education at its best!

  • @uramoron2006 That's, at best, a very ambiguous definition. "Pregnant" means there's a child developing in the uterus. At conception, it's mere a zygote & it may or may attach to the uterus. What people don't know is that many fertilized eggs don't attach. Aside from, conception isn't the beginning of life. Sperm & eggs are classified as "alive", by biological definition, before they ever have contact. Her "science" lacks a real understanding of the elemental principles.

  • @upabittoolate but zygotes are part of the child development stages. The life stages of a childs development in the womb begins at conception.

  • @uramoron2006 It's part. Tis true. But the notion that life starts then is ridiculous given the facts.

  • @upabittoolate I guess that all depends on whos facts you are going with ;) Pro-lifers say fact: life starts at conception. Pro-choicers say fact: life starts at 24 weeks gestation.

  • @uramoron2006 Pro lifers have to acknowledge that sperm & egg are already alive. But by that logic, women's periods would be bad. Even as a pro-choice guy, I have to say that life begins when the baby's organ are developed enough to live without the mother. I don't agree with women using abortion as birth control. 24wk abortions are awful to me (I had an ex have an abortion at 21wks & I was devastated for almost a decade). But the pro-life kooks are out of control.

  • @upabittoolate well, SOME pro-lifers are a little radical lol Im a pro-lifer but I listen to reason on both sides and try my hardest to see where everyone comes from. I have never had an abortion but as a mother of 3 soon to be 4 (and two waiting for me in heaven), a daughter of an unwed teen mom who is a drug addict and alcoholic and I am victim of child abuse, I cant accept abortion at any stage for any lifestyle. There has to be a better answer out there then shedding the blood of the unborn.

  • It's a tough decision to make. I'm pro-life in the sense that all humans are. As a man, I can't imagine what that decision process must be like. It's emotionally jarring enough without fundamentalists breathing down their necks & tryna limit their rights. In my own case, I think she killed a baby. BUT, that a choice she made & its her body. I don't think legislation should dictate anything beyond standards of surgical safety.

Ultimately, if it's not viable, it's not alive yet.

  • @uramoron2006 Do you accept the idea of contraception to prevent pregnancy from occurring?

  • @MsColdCanada 100% honestly, I believe in condoms. That's the only form of contraceptive I believe in if one chooses to partake in sexual activities. Personally, speaking for myself, putting drugs in my body that don't need to be there is something I want no part of. I did at one point use hormonal birth control and it messed me up so I use NFP and condoms with my husband.

  • @upabittoolate Personally I'm torn by situations such as the one you were in. I'm a woman who respects that choice must be provided since people cannot be forced to lovingly parent a child. However, if a woman is healthy enough to bear the child and the man would like to raise his child then I'd like to see a great deal more cooperation (not law) of the birth mother in carrying the child to term. I know it would produce more single fathers but it seems to me it would be the right thing to do.

  • @MsColdCanada I would've had no problem being a single father. But I also know it's not that simple. She was in school at the time. She had to face her family. She's Indian. I'm Black. So there's some racism involved. All that said, I still believe the woman's choice is what's paramount. I despise the choice she made. I was so hurt that I wanted to die. But I can't say that my pain should dictate everyone's life.

  • @upabittoolate I also wouldn't want it to take away choice or have the man be able to dictate the decision but I guess I think maybe if there were some mediator type service provided between the potential mother and father in some cases. I see how that idea probably wouldn't have helped in your case but I feel very badly for you that a social "shame" existed for interracial couple or pregnancy outside of marriage that pressured the situation. That's a culture shift I'd like to see take place.

  • @MsColdCanada In a perfect world, we wouldn't need abortions. But that's not the world we live in. Of course ther are ethical implications, but we can't tout the virtues of liberty if that liberty isn't extended to each & every 1 of our citizens. To me, equality has to be consistent. We can't expect a woman to work for an honest living, pay taxes & obey laws then turn around & say, "we're going to make legal mandates about what you do with own body."

  • @upabittoolate but it's not just her own body. It involves someone else.

  • @middy444 "...but it's not just her own body." Bullshit. It's HER body. You can't logically argue otherwise.

  • @upabittoolate By someone else he meant the penis.

  • @Rickymexmex WIN!!!!

  • @upabittoolate So true. Well said

  • Abstinence is not realistic, nor is it fair to people since we're all sexual beings. It's natural, and it's perfectly healthy. Besides, what about couples who do not want children? And what about people who only want to adopt? Why bring more offspring into the world when so many kids are orphans?

It's sad that you feel that women are nothing more than baby-making machines who are property of their husbands. I pity you for being so brainwashed.

  • Haha. Whatever.

  • What if you never get married? Some people are not married by choice, or because even after decades of searching, they have'nt yet found the right person.

  • I pity poor spinsters who never wed. My mother's sister was one, and the only joy in her life came from raising chickens. She named them all, but still had to make them into stew every so often. It was a sad life she lived, and I was glad to marry young and save myself from the terror of not having a man. Men and women should live as Man and his Wife, and none of this divorcing business. Pray to the Lord God to find a spouse!

  • I have prayed for 30-years, and little to no response. Proof that there is NO "god". No invisible imaginary friend. Yes, men and women should live as man and wife, but the reality of things is that 50% of marriages end in divorce. That is the kind of world God made.

  • from womenshealth about website:

"she is still bleeding and passing nickel size clots on a regular basis."

(i thought i was on my death bed)

"Ive never felt this bad not even with the flu, someone please tell me whats going on!"

"I was sad as though Id lost my baby and Id never had those feelings before from taking those pills. I believe my baby was a boy."

Hi all. I took the morning after pill and got pregnant last year in August. I subsequently had a miscarriage at 10wks.

  • George Tiller's killer made a bad choice. But he figured it was his right to choose that some abortions should come later than others. Mr. Tiller was deemed as unwanted, and murders will always happen - legal or not.

"I will maintain the utmost respect for human life, from the time of its conception; even under threat, I will not use my medical knowledge contrary to the laws of humanity; I will practice my profession with conscience and dignity.

    Declaration of Geneva

  • I love causing birth defects. I love extremely preterm births. I love crushing skulls. I love killing both women AND their children with RU-486. I love stopping beating hearts. I love breast cancer. I love cerebral palsy in children. I love grinding human remains down into the sewer system. I love suicide, depression, and substance abuse. I love cervical cancer. I love lying to women and destroying their health for huge profits. I love Nazi medicine. I love killing. I love Planned Parenthood.
  • As corrupt a propagandist as Couric is, Palin should have done much better with this and seen it coming. Plan B works AFTER conception as well as before - and Couric knows it.

Not to mention the birth defects to whoever might survive this human pesticide. And of course not to mention that it causes breast cancer also..

  • boo-urns

  • Nice list of absurdities(above). Plan B is meant to be taken within 2-3 days. It's rare for conception to even occur within that time frame and once it does the pill is not effective.

Human rights extend to the parents of the conceived embryo as well. Perhaps, some do not wish to raise an unplanned child in an unsuitable environment. Surprise, but some do not share your unrealistic nature-defying idea of abstinence and as for contraception, accidents happen. So fuck off & stop trampling rights

  • You can keep spreading lies all you want. The links are in my profile - and you have ZERO real science behind your absurd lies. Conception can take place in an HOUR, or indeed up to a week later. You oh so love your killings.

Geneva, Helsinki, and ths UDHR were written to thwart nazi medicine and its apologists like you from ever infecting the planet ever again. All you and the rest of the killing lobby have done is make us 60 million less, and # 1 in breast cancer. "Thanks."

  • Right. Except that you forget people have one thing, CHOICE. Everything comes with a risk. Get real please. When someone chooses to terminate a pregnancy they understand the risks and are possible effects. I hardly deem something that is PURELY OPTIONAL "nazi medicine."

  • Stop spouting out your religious agenda and leave people be. I reviewed your sources and they support a 3% risk for diseases and increases of plaque after decades of use. Any other birth/preterm defects are due to parental negligence for failing to realize they're pregnant. All the risks are clearly labeled AND listed on the side of any medicine box/container. It is the user's responsibility to understand any risk.

  • It's an OTC drug. That's like saying people who use cough syrup support drug addicts because kids get off on it. Have you ever been to any clinic? Do you understand that you're thoroughly spoken to and if you have any questions you can ask? Stop pretending you're worried about drug effects and admit that it's simply a "prolife" argument you're pushing.

  • You "oh so love your killings" of doctors. Stick with your ridiculous "God has a plan" idea and by that logic, realize that every one of those abortions and failed pregnancies is part of that "plan." Don't be a selective little shit and cherry-pick which verses and rules to follow. If any form of termination is bad, you should be just as outraged about clinic doctors being murdered. Instead you pal around with the real sickos who comment your page in an attempt to justify murder.

  • No one has a right to kill... I have friends who have been in worse situations than you could imagine and they kept their baby.

  • Comment removed

  • I think you need to reread before you address other comments. Rights to terminate life are not the debate; it's the false claim that Plan B causes harmful side effects. Truth be told, it's a concentrated one-time pill that isn't designed for regular use. As for your friends, it's soooo good to know there are plenty of selfish parents who don't think their kids would be better off with other, prepared families.

  • lol.. Palin blew the election for mccain

  • Life started about 3.5 billion years ago. So...DAH!

  • 4.5 billion

  • nah, that would be the age of the earth you are thinking of. he oldest ancient fossil microbe-like objects are dated to be 3.5 Ga old according to the wiki article on abiogenesis.

Anyways the biblical creation stories are wrong on the order of 10^6 which is no trivial error.

  • ok, thanks man thats cool to know.

  • She tries to please as much audiences as possible. staying too neutral and vague. Get your act together. (Also: dont the morning after pill prevent fertilization, and ehnce by Palin's own standards is not an "abortion"?)

  • wow it take this slow women about 45 seconds to answer a simple yes or no question wow.

  • ADFLKJADFSLKSADFLKJASDLFKJ

AHH, the morning after pill PREVENTS contraception! HELLOOO! That's not even the issue! Has she even read up on any of the issues she needs to address as a politician?!

  • Well you should use protection before you have sex! If more people did that there would be less abortions.

  • When I was young I used condoms. Now that I'm older I like having guys cum inside me because that is how I have my best orgasms. Especially when I'm ovulating. If I get knocked up I'll be entitled to child support. Woo Hoo!

  • lol

  • .....huh?

  • You need to fuck more guys before you will understand. I figure I fucked about 200. Now I only fuck guys with money who can afford to get me knocked up.

  • i am a guy. and i dont swing that way

  • If you don't have no money then don't bother me. This girl don't fuck without coin.

  • What a dumb fuck

  • OMG first Palin said that she agrees with it for preventive measures now she saying she disagrees with it...what is it that you believe please let us know!!! anyways im so glad she ain't in office cause she so damn wishy washy wtf

  • She doesnt even deserve to be in the stone age, she's conservative and stupid. Our ancestors were smarter and uhh, more straight to the point I'd say.

  • in the debate, she blamed biden of beating around the bush, and engaging in 'politics'

i wish this video, and the millions of others of her doing the same thing, would be shown straight after her loud-mouth comments at the debate

    what a vile woman!

  • She didn't say BC pills were abortion. The below information, whether it's correct or not was taken from the Alan Guttmacher Institute which is funded by Planned Parenthood...the NATION'S #1 ABORTION BUSINESS.

  • She thinks that birth control pills are abortion? Uh!

1/2 of fertilized eggs do not implant. Birth control pills work mostly by stopping ovulation. A woman has an 85% chance of a confirmed pregnancy with a year of unprotected sex. So there are at least 40 fertilized eggs that die and don't implant in women who use no contraception in 1 yr. But women who use birth control pills don't ovulate and only a few will get to the fertilization stage. FEWER FERTILIZED EGGS DIE IN WOMEN WHO TAKE BC PILLS!

  • What's with the obsession on contraception and abortion? Contraception and abortion aren't what run countries. This kind of value politics pisses me off; it's engaged in by people who lack the intelligence to discuss real political issues.

  • The obsession is to figure out if Palin is a right wing psycho or not. Does she want Armegeddon to happen to fulfill her Pentacostal urges. Anything that has to do w religion is fair game.

  • First off, the only reason that this is important is that McCain and Palin will probably try to overturn Roe Vs. Wade, which will make abortion illegal in almost every aspect. That is why it is important.

It might not happen, but still

  • @bluecobalt27 Hardly. The thoughts that people have on these controversial topics are good indications of their intelligence and capability.

  • @bluecobalt27 What's up with religious fanatics being obsessed with sex in general? It really weirds me out.

  • @bluecobalt27

EXACTLY! I have been wondering why the public gets all caught up in picking a figure head that thinks like them about these issues. The REAL issue at hand is choosing a president who can bring economic prosperity and restore dignity in our country.

  • @bluecobalt27

    >>Contraception and abortion aren't what run countries

That's true, but you have to remember that the people who do run the country find these emotional topics very useful as a means of distracting uneducated voters from important issues.

When these become non-issues finally, the next emotional issue will be hatched to keep us preoccupied. Bread and circuses, bread and circuses.

  • wow..... she totally backtracked. she was all "I'm all for contraception" and then she's like "personally, i would not uhm choose to participate in that kind of contraception"

    WOW.............

  • sarah,, you might want to consider gettin yer tubes tied, or some kinda contraception .... cuz it look like the last one didn't work out so well.....

  • Then why did God go to so much trouble to make SO many baby related diseases, and why is child birth so dangerous to both child and mother?

    Vengeful God strike again!

  • Then why did he kill all the babies in the world with the flood?

  • Sarah....Good luck in Alaska OBAMA 08!
