WOW first few seconds i thought tha john is singing.Work on drums and that kind of piano sound and it would be the best youtube cover of this song. And if you can try to get that vocal effect.Bravo
I only think you need to work on the drums. They are a bit off rhythm at points and as Nacnueed said, the overwhelming cymbal droning is essential to the song.
Overall a very good effort. Especially with the samples. Wow.
Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment! Yeah, agree that the drums are the weakest link in the tune. Putting all these parts together and timing some of my reverse effects though was quite a project - phew! (ha-ha)
Hi I love the cover. you got the feeling really well. I'm working on a cover myself (different from the original) but I'm having trouble getting the backwards/background stuff.. how did u do it and if you used the original tracks, how did u mute the drums and everything from it? Any help would be appreciated. thanks...Good cover once again.
Everythin sounds real close except your drum sounds, cymbals aren't "washy" enough, and you need that "ringing" snare sound. Still vocals and effects are amazin'. 4 stars
I completely agree about the drums. Ringo's production on the song was up-front and "in your face." It was impossible for me to even come close using the MIDI keyboard drum sound that I had to work with. But thanks for the other positive comments!

a song which I always hated - until now... you turned a throwaway into a nice sound, nice echo, got rid of some of those annoying background noises - good job
I really think those backround effects are an important part of this piece... If you're annoyed by them then you haven't got the point of this song...

awesome cover, but the drums weren't as heavy or prominent in the mix as they were on the original.
