thanks for posting this for others to share and if I can put some 'normal' opinion on here and yes the andromeda galaxy, so close to our own milky way but sadly still os far away from us and wether Mankind could get there in lifetimes to come?? probably with like a lot of the universe, Mankind cannot reach life like earth planets or stars, but you can sort hope or dream to get there to outer space yes.

Lightyears dont measure time, they measure distance. Lightyear=the distance light travels in a year. but yes you would never make it.

Actually it's gravitational forces that causes things like stars and eventually galaxies to clump together over time; and not all galaxies are spirals, some are more like spheres and yet others are just pancake shaped. I don't think humans had anything to do with their shape, considering most galaxies have been around a few hundred thousand times as long as people have.

These are the images I try and think of when I pray/meditate.

Just to think that the magnetic forces that make these gases do what they do to form galaxies and stars just amazes me.

And it's not a simple coincidence that the path of the gases resemble the path of blood/air through our bodies [spiral fashion]

The different filters are just different light spectrum's, Sometimes you can see more detail using different filters of color, In fact There are Some objects that can only be seen by using different filters.
